2. Not really a 'small' peice of evidence. It's a good indicator that gaming critics in general, as well as loving both the games, liked Halo 3 slightly more than MGS 4.

- Gears/COD4/Bioshock/GTAIV/MAss Effect

but i would buy it over MGS4 because it has more replay value and is more fun. SP wise MGS4 owns it though.

No, and I don't think GS really write the best reviews to be honest. It's just funny to watch fanboys flip-flop and decide which site to use when it benefits them. If MGS4 scored better than Halo 3 in Gamerankings but lower on Gamespot, the TC would be using Gamespot.
