But seriously i was basically saying that people's opinions>>>critics. This is why im not enjoying Halo 3 and im enjoying other games that people said its a "must have". trust me opinions are better. Or you'll keep getting crappy games like GTA4 for example, and look at people's opinions about gta4. I learned my lesson after buying GTA4 and Halo.

That would be common sense, what you said was that nobody said Halo 3 was their favourite game, i think the thousands of people that play it fanatically and the thousands of fansites for the series kinda prove you wrong there.

Finally there's no way to judge how many more people liked a game other than to go off of sales, which in itself is unreliable so we're left with critics.

the majority of people listen to low-quality music, eat cheap food, and don't get to enjoy the best there is in the world.

ok, that was kind of ironic, but i just don't see how and why the majority speaks of what is best when there's an specialized media and critics judging the product with solid parameters. That's why i always prefered to go by only one majority: the media consensus. That's why i prefer Metacritic's and Gameranking's averages than a single site's score, and that's why, although i recognise that in this case a 360 game was favoured against a PS3 game, the opposite has occurred many times, and that's just how things work.

Nonetheless, both are great games, and although i never got to play H3, i'd very much like to. What i can assure is that MGS4, for me, deserved that 10 and is a perfect ending for such a saga.

Oh no, it is. The thing i found funny about MGS4 is it actually attempted it's own form of achievements, I've no idea if these medals whatever yo ucall them that you unlock after completing the game was in the previous ones but what a terrible attempt at proloning the games life.

What was it, spend an hour attached to a wall? Spend an hour prone? Boring? That's the *best* Konami and co could come up with to prolong the games life. :lol:

I played through it once, I've not gone back. Halo 3 still has 4 player co-op and still has it's multiplayer to fall on whenever i feel like. Guarenteed entertainment. And I don't need to sit through a cutscene for the bazillionth time either.

Reality is MGS4 is a very in your face, WOW and it's gone game, doesn't have lasting appeal and that's it's downfall IMO

Metacritic is by no means FACT. The 3 or so reviews that gave Halo 3 the SLIGHT higher percentage translates to 3 people's opinions :| There is absolutely no way your argument isn't questionable, unless there's a huge gap between percentages.

As far as sales go, fact is, there are more consumers out there with a 360. You'd have an argument if both install bases were near same.
