[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"]oh and isn't there 4 player coop for the main campaign as well? if so thats a good reason as well.Jandurinwow, surprisingly exactly the same as halo 3 >_> similar features sure, i wouldn't say the campaign is "exactly the same as Halo 3" though :P The game is just a ripoff at the price tag.

Not for me, since I didn't' buy that a lot of maps, only a few, too bad for those who have most or all of them.
Luigi's Mansion FTW!Halo without Master Chief is like a Mario game without Mario. No interest for me.

This is really irrelevant, we all know the hype is AAA no matter how many lemmings try to downplay it. What this really shows is a lack of confidence in their system and premier developers with so many people playing it safe. Time and time again we're informed that Halo is a AAA franchise and one of the best of the genre, but when the time comes for predictions...:?

[QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"][QUOTE="aaronmullan"]Lemmings are being safe with this one :PaaronmullanHalo Wars is the biggest flop of '09, can't blame 'em :P I'll avoid deliberate underhype and say AAAE. I'm hyping this one AAA, too. Since it's by Bungie and they haven't made a bad game.
That's what I thought about it.
I wonder how many cows clicked AAA so they can claim ownage later? This game will be lucky to get a 8.0, but I'm predicting 7.5. It's a $60 expansion pack that adds almost nothing new to the franchise besides firefight and a very short campaign. I could see if the gameplay was different, but it's the same basic Halo formula, not to mention the jaggy sub-HD graphics from Halo 3. If this gets AAA I will film myself eating 3 Habanero peppers at once and post the link in my sig for 3 months.

Looks pretty bad i can't see it getting over 8/10. WOW some people actually think this is gonna get AAA? wtf must be blind fanboy or fakeboys...no way a 60$ expension with same old 640p graphics game getsAAA 2years leter. The only acceptable and half fun thing in ODST is that hord like mode other than that it looks BS.
I'm guessing 8.0, but all that I've seen has not impressed me at all, so I can definitely see this getting a 7.5. It'll sell like hotcakes of course, but I can't see myself buying it unless there's something really special about it.
Exactly how I feel based on what I've seen so far. (The bold part, not the part about 3 habaneros!)I wonder how many cows clicked AAA so they can claim ownage later? There havent been any gameplay changes?.....I disagree.
The campaign looks better than Halo 3's was, but I should probably play it before jumping to that conclusion. Anyway, AA.
AAE. It doesnt seem to make any notion of improvement from Halo 3, set aside that new mode or whatever.

The campaign design is totally different. Whether that is an improvement or not, we have to wait and see. But it's really not more of the same as some would suggest.

True. All signs and info suggest this will be a challenge for Halo fans seeing as you are not a spartan, but a human soldier with less speed, jump, and ability to take or recover from punishment. Looks very interesting and strategic.[QUOTE="Cyberfairy"]
I've gotta admit it's pretty funny that cows are voting AAA just to see a flop.
treedoor
I voted AAAe, and I'm not a cow, and I don't believe everyone that has voted AAAe is a cow either.
i never said everyone was a cow...
well first.he did the ratings wrong.but i think itll score around 9.0 here.and low 90's on metacritic. gamespot has shown a love for bungie halo games.the average here is like a 9.5 or something.but well just have to see.but im really excited for it.so idc
wow, back from school, hectic day for parking (so aweful). Anyways, why am i talking about school, back to halo. There are so much AAAE votes for ODST, but i'll play it safe :P

No the hype is AA. What you're saying is irrelevant because we don't hype games based on their predecessors. Besides this is a spin-off. How can you not understand why people are sceptical?
It should be noted that many here claim this may be the best Halo ever, and certainly justify the $60 price hike with lengthy posts...and this package is worth so much more than Halo 3...the thing is those same people are hyping AA.
So, it seems to me they know something about HaloSTD that they aren't letting on.
Officially, it's HaloSTD is hyped AA, and I plan on getting it, but my question is, "For those hyping AA, what's holding you back from AAA? What concerns you about this game that you aren't completely confident in it?"
Perhaps it isn't really worth the $60 Bungie is charging, is that it?

2 points. First off, im pretty sure its MS pushing the $60 price point, not Bungie. Secondly, i think the reason it will score AA IS because of its pricepoint. To me, this game will definitely be an AAA experience but when predicting the score it'll receive on gamespot, AA is far more realistic due to the recycled Halo 3 competitive multiplayer. After all thats all these hype threads are, just predicting the score it will get on Gamespot. It should be noted that many here claim this may be the best Halo ever, and certainly justify the $60 price hike with lengthy posts...and this package is worth so much more than Halo 3...the thing is those same people are hyping AA.
