Halo 3: ODST sales weak compared to Halo 3

Good day, wise members of System Wars. Here's System Wars' approved sales analyst speaking. Halo 3's first expansion, Halo 3: ODST, has officially managed to sell 2.2 million units in its first week of availability - worldwide.[1] Over 2 million copies in one week is a great accomplishment, but compared to the previous Halo titles, Halo 2 and Halo 3, these numbers are not imposing. It's time to compare the sales of Halo 3 and Halo 3's expansion. While Halo 3: ODST did great by getting sold 2.2 million times to gamers in its first days, Halo 3 did a lot better. More than 31 million Xbox 360s had been sold before Halo 3: ODST launched.[2] It succeded in selling 2.2 million copies after one week on the market, as stated. When Halo 3 launched, however, less than 12 million Xbox 360s had been sold[3], and the mega popular game sold an astonishing 2.5 million units in 24 hours[4] - in the U.S. only, bringing in $170 million in U.S. stores on Tuesday only (September 25th)[5]. The comparison Halo 3: ODST: First-week sales (worldwide): 2.2 million on a 31-million user base. Halo 3: First-day sales (U.S. only): 2.5 million on a ~11.5-million user base. Now, great men of System Wars, do not misunderstand me - I love Halo and am not trying to bash it. I am - in company with my arguments - trying to say that Halo 3: ODST is a sales fiasco. You just said for being a game deved on a lower budget in a year versus one in 3 and only selling .3 mil less at launch like it is a bad thing. God. You're an idiot.
