Halo 3 versus Metroid Prime 3 Gamespot Score sig bet

1. Which will score higher on Gamespot?

I think that Metroid Prime 3 will score higher, and if Halo 3 scores lower I want Lemmings to admit ownage by putting in their signatures "I hyped Halo 3, but it turned out to be casual trash." :P

I love halo and metroid, but GS? Cmon. Maybe if we went by gamerankings it'd be another story but on gs.... halo.

no doubt. And Halo has immense replayability because of online co-op campaign AND online multiplayer. So it really should. My guess is

Halo 3 - 9.5

Corruption - 9.0

Halo: Combat Evolved did not have online. It had a very good multiplayer mode that was fun at LAN parties or even just with friends, but no online. Halo 2 and the PC port of Combat Evolved had online.

My thoughts exactly. I think they'll both get a 9.0.

my vote is for halo 3 out scoring metroid 3.

i will buy both games and enjoy them both.

but i do know i will play metroid once, maybe twice and be done with it for the rest of my life.

i know i will play halo 3s campain atleast 15 times. heres the possibilities. singleplayer/co-op with different friends/for random achievements/for a better meta score/for saved films.

i've played gears of war campaign around 15 times. and everyone says how short that game is. its one of those games you can finish in two sittings if you are hardcore enough. gears of war had 2 player co-op/randon achievements/and single player (never played it single though)

so i guess all i'm trying to say is halo 3 will last 500 times longer than metroid.

Do I really have to say this again? UNFAIR COMPARISON. Why? Different genres. It'd be like comparing Street Fighter IV and Streets of Rage 4 (hypothetical for the sake of the arguement); the genres share some similarites, but are pretty damn different.Video_Game_King

Because it's putting all of it's eggs in one basket with the Wii-mote. It doesn't have the HD graphics or the online multiplayer to help it that Halo 3 does. Thats my opinion (and why I agree with nintendofreak_2)

Anyway, I don't think it;s the lack of Multi-player, the series suffered when it was implemented and it was awful multi-player at that. It just doesn't amaze me like other games (i.e. Super Mario Galaxy) do. I thnk that Retro won't be able to do enough with just the Wiimote alone to make it innovative and fresh enough without changing the trilogy too much in the last instalment.

Across platform comparisons aren't accurate. What scores a 9 on the Wii won't necessarilly score a 9 on the Xbox 360, different expectations and standards for very disimilar systems.

WIth that being said, I say Halo 3 will score higher. And if they tie, it will still be better seeing as Xbox 360 games are held to higher standards than Wii games.

Your right....it's the avatar :P. And yeah, I totally agree with maybe not being able to do enough with the Wiimote to make it innovative and fresh lik you said.

And I don't really believe that MP3 needs the multiplayer, because it doesn't really strike me as a game I would wanna play online anyways (even though it's at it's true nature a FPS). But it is something that is great in the Halo series that Halo has to go along with a great SP experience IMO.
