-First of all, you say Halo was dumbed down to gain a greater fanbase. FALSE! Halo 2 was dumbed down in order to optimize the network code and allow for almost seamlessly perfect connections with internet speeds of even 128kbps.

-You say porting Halo to PC was a bad move. FALSE! Porting Halo to PC has been a blessing for all of the people who seeked to play the original Halo online, and also generated more money to Microsoft, and no Halo fan of the Xbox version complained due to the difference in dates. Also, the modding nature of the PC game, allowed Halo 1 fans to create new contents and missions that kept the original game alive.

-You say Halo 1 was superior than Halo 2. This is an opinion, which is shared by 50% of the community, however, there is also the other 50% of the fanbase who thinks otherwise. Just because you have an opinion it does not mean is a fact.

-You say "the same repetitive nature of the game will drastically annoy fans of the original and soon enough people will just ignore Halo and remember it for what the series really is - A One Hit Wonder" Are you God? How can you tell the future? Last time I checked there are still 500,000 players active in Halo 2. The fact peoplelove a game you hate does not mean the worldwill open its eyes and suddenly think like you.

- You say "Resistance is the Halo killer for this generation of gaming. No doubt about it." You know you doubt this, or is your blind fanboyism got so deep in your brain that now you name any unproven game as long as you can keep your Halo bashing?

Stop posting because people are not laughing with you, they are laughing at you. And as somebody else say, you should change your name to "yo_failed" because thats what you are, a failure.

1) and look how bad that Halo 2 multiplayer turned out. It phailed big time 2) people didn't bother buying the XBOX because Halo was available on PC. It was the XBOX's "only worthy of buying the console for a game" 3) the 50% who think otherwise own a 360 looking for dumb shooters. 9.7 > 9.4 4) no i am making a prediction based on specific facts present in Halo 1 and 2. It's everywhere on System Wars 5) I know this as a gameplay fact. Because Resistance > Halo 2 and Halo 2 = Halo 3 :'(

Don't hate on me because I own you. BlackBond is only a fanboy of one thing and clearly that is the greatness known as Megaman. I could care less about systems I only follow the games. You on the other hand clearly don't do the same.

I follow the games that's why for the sake of gaming Halo 3 won't be successful. It will sell but on a gameplay level its all been done before. With Halo it was new-ish because it was basically a bit of a tribes rip off. Halo 2 - dumbed down and samey. Halo 3 more of the same. not even innovative. :'(

Excuse-em-muah, but Halo 1 was a bit more then a tactical game. It invented the mellee attack, the marine yelling when you do something cool, the 2 weapon system etc.

Melee attacks: Unreal Tournament the rest have been done before. Can't think of when but Halo 1 was innovative because it was plain fun and tactical and had a good multiplayer. Halo 2 was a dumb shooter trying to be tactical and get n00bs in. An insult really to Halo 1 fans. :'(

A rivalry is something competitive. You are not a worthy rival. The only rival I have is Panzer. He can prove me wrong, give me insight on what I don't know, and have an intellectual debate without frouthing out the mouth.

lol i think everyone Sheep or Cow would be insulted with what you said. Don't even get me started on Ocarina of Time - which scored a 10 here at GS. LOZ > Halo anyday. For me Deus Ex > GTA > LOZ > Halo. but Deus Ex would technically be lesser down that scale for everyone else. OoT > Halo 1 (10 > 9.7) :'(

Over 380 replies show that you are getting back into your old form, but I think you need some practice in the Lemming territory when you choose to make your arguements. Overall, good showing for the first time I have seen you go after Lemmings and I can't wait for the next time I see a similar Lemming flavored flamebait type of post from you.Any intentions on doing something for either the Cows or Hermits next time, or is it back to the Sheep for your next thread?

Like in Half Life 1, you could hold like 16 weapons. In halo, you can only hold two at one time, you can swap them with enemies that don't disappear when they die, and instead of grenades having an ammunation, you could hold 4, well, 8.

Halo 2 may have been worse than the original but it does not necessarily mean it was a flop. And hype doesn't just mean a game will get a good score, look at Killzone :

no. All those things have been done before. Halo 1 was just tactical. Halo 2 was just a regular dumb shooter. :'(

Melee attacks: Unreal Tournament the rest have been done before. Can't think of when but Halo 1 was innovative because it was plain fun and tactical and had a good multiplayer. Halo 2 was a dumb shooter trying to be tactical and get n00bs in. An insult really to Halo 1 fans. :'(

Well, if you want to get technical, you could say that Goldeneye had the dual-wielding system, but, at least for Goldeneye, it was only weapons of the same type, where as in Halo 2, they could be weapons of differing types.

Nah I'd rather play Metroid over any Megaman game. I love Megaman and am his biggest fan but I'm not a blind fanboy about it. There are better games.
