Look very much like a potential subscription model, leavign the initial campaign truncated may result in more people wanting the DLC in order to finish the fight!

There will no doubt be DLC down the line in the form of map packs and extra "Spartan Ops" missions, but anyone who buys the game gets "free" Spartan ops missions for a season (read: one a week for a good few months).
I reckon we'll get more than our money's worth so fear not Tenaka, I know how much you love Halo.
As I said I like Halo, its undoubtly a quality product and I did enjoy playing the first game and its predececessor Marathon.
However I am also familiar with microsofts policy of bleeding its fans dry and the fans loving it.
I don't know. Sure you have Xbox Live Gold and the overpriced accessories etc. but I can't really think of any cases of any first-party games getting content cut and resold as DLC.
The previous Halo's had nothing of the sort so I see no reason why this one will be any different. I mean, they're really sparing no expense for a start. The budget is massive and they shot a multi-million dollar feature-length web-series, just for this game.
I think their main priortity is stealing back a sizeable chunk of CoD's crown, then they can begin to focus on ripping people off. Until that day though, it's a win-win.
