I always found Heroic to be a good challenge. Legendary is kinda cheap and the Elites are the only real threat, but it can also be a challenge.

COD on Veteran though is way more challenging, you die in like one shot.

I hope the campaign is longer than 20 minutes. 8 missions is not very long, unless it's like Halo CE mission length, and even that game had more than 8 missions. That's because back then Bungie cared about Halo, this gen they just tossed the SP out the window, it was basically just tacked on.

I hope Halo 4 isn't like ODST length. If it is then don't buy it, it won't justify a full price.

I do. I played dozens of hours of Reach and never even touched the MP. Halo games have always been SP games to me, never liked the MP.

Exactly, 360 does not have the variety or quality like PS3 exclusives do, it doesn't have the graphics either. PS3 has both good SP and MP games, you have good SP ones like UC and MGS4, and you have MP ones like Killzone and LBP.

Halo 4 is skippable, the PS3 has way better games coming out this year like LBP Karting and PS All Stars Battle Royale. Plus Black Ops 2 and Far Cry 3 look way better than Halo 4, in both SP and MP.

Halo 4 is not worth getting compared to those 2 games, espeically if it's campaign is gonna suck again.

See thats not really challenging, its cheap. Reach felt like just going from checkpoint to checkpoint, and the last part was just memorizing the order to shoot.

What would make it challenging is for either new enemies specifically for the harder difficulty or giving old enemies new abilities and not just increasing their health & damage.

That doesn't mean anything. Halo 3's campaign was 9 chapters and still ended up being a solid 8 - 12 hours long on Heroic.

I doubt the people complaining about the 8 missions were getting the game anyways.

The campaign will be lengthy and entertaining; but like others I'm picking it up for the multiplayer.

I'm picking it up primarily for the SP, as always.

I love the MP, obviously, but the campaigns have always been the main draw for me since Combat Evolved.

And the cows and lemmings that were arguing with each other (especially that idiot GamerzwillPS), both of the consoles are coming near the end of the generation, and as such, both are lacking in exclusives this year. jonathant5

If previous Halo games are to go by the missions will be longer than 20 minutes since there are many checkpoints due to different sections of the missions.

reach was easy on legendary, the finallevels were a bit challenging because of thelack of ammo
