You're an absolute idiot. Too bad you did all that research for a moot point. Maybe if you took the time to realize what you were copying and pasting you'd understand that the NPD used to have a "single-sku" top 10, where each game from each platform had it's own spot. Now the NPD lumps all of the sku's for a given game together. Of course, it's going to be harder for Halo 5 to stay in the top 10. Additionally, Halo 3 was not offered digitally whereas Halo 5 is a game that Xbox users undoubtedly bought digitally in big numbers. Pay attention....
Oh look another dusted lemming alt account who doesn't dare face me from its normal account..hahahahaa
Yes and they lumped other games when Halo 3 came you idiot,so stop crying.
No it didn't have a digital release, but digital sales on xbox one don't even account for 35% of the total sales, even exaggerating and pretending that by each copy sold by retailers they sold a digital copy, that would still put Halo 5 with 1.8 million in 5 days, halo 3 did 3.3 million i don't know if you can add or subtract, but even exaggerating Halo 5 numbers it still fail vs Halo 3 by 1.5 million units, not to mention there is no way in HELL that they sold the same amount of copies digitally than retail,so probably with luck they sold some 1.2 million units and i am being generous adding 300k as digital, which is a 3rd of the number of physical copies.
So you see it doesn't matter because even exaggerating digital sales Halo 5 fall greatly short of Halo 3 numbers,oh and to make this even worse the xbox one had a bigger user base when Halo 5 arrive than the xbox 360 had when Halo 3 was launch.
It doesn't take a PHD in market research to know Halo 5 did bad, lack of numbers by MS,the game being sold for $34 dollars on amazon and the $100 version for $49,tell the whole story Halo 3 was selling at 60 2 years after launch..lol

Oh it absolutely does, if they announced all four games as selling over 1 million units in a single news post and one was confirmed as sold-through only because it was asked, then they all are. Not to mention just from the US and physical only NPD reporting alone it sold just under a million in the last 5 days of October which means it was already confirmed FAR over a million from the onset with global and digital sales. So it's by default a fact that the Microsoft statement is referring to sold-through for Halo 5 when they said "over 1 million", which is what those Neogaf posts are talking about and subsequently Frank O'Conner corrected.
~5 million in 3 months.
No it doesn't and we know how much of a on denial fanboy you are.
The guy never claim sold through period,to retailers i have no doubt to consumers no chance in hell with how poor the game did on NPD.
Basically 99.999% of MS sell figures are shipped to stores, even more this gen when they have get the short end of the stick...
