skillwise
CS>>>Battlefield~> Tf2>>> halo
When i can jump in and do fine in halo (even against some friends that play way more than me), no way in hell can it take a lot of skill.
TF2 i've played forever and sometimes i still have cold streaks in public servers (sometimes its also my team, but getting started in tf2 without playing the demo class and camping takes time
Battlefield requires teamwork, and i played it without teamwork but it took time to get used to (besides spawncamping)
Counterstrike kills me. It's just insane. No matter how much i play, i cannot win or get a presentable K/D ratio

Really? I think it is:
CSS>>>>Halo>TF2>Battlefield.
You say Halo takes the least amount of skill because you can jump into a game and do good. Well if you have any sort of past FPS experience at all you can jump into any game and do good.
Again I could take your logic and apply it to TF2. I can jump into a TF2 game and do great (even against players that play many more hours than I do), no way in hell it can take a lot of skill.
Battlefield is the same way as TF2 and Halo, I can jump in a do great. However imo the niche skill level (ie top level skill) is much higher in Halo then it is in TF2 or Battlefield. Which is why I see Halo as a more skill-based game.
Counterstike however is in a league of its own. Not sure how one could argue that it takes less skill than those three games.
