after playing all the halo games, they have really left an impression on me.
Starting Halo:CE i could already feel the atmosphere of humanity's desperate struggle, when i got shooting around the pillar of autumn, it was so easy to pick up and play. When i landed on halo i noticed the great artork and the strategy required for each weapon, each having its own streghs and weaknesses. When i went after captain keyes underground and saw all the blood and corpes i knew something terrible was coming. and i was right. it was the flood. after trying to activate the halo and realise that its suicide and got away,i had tremendous fun shooting in a 4-way war on extremely fun veihcles.
Then i rigged the pilar of autumn's fusion reactors and got the hell out of there. not easy.
then came halo 2. With a huge and gerat storyline, i could feel the danger of the covenant on earth. i played as the arbiter battling flood and brutes with fantastic new weapons. killing Regreat brought a huge sense of satisfaction. and seeing the treachery of truth, and seeing how horrible he really was i knew he had to die. Unfortunately the game ended. good thing i had halo 3 right next to me.
starting off in the jungle and buildings on earth, going to the ark, destroyed scarabs with hornets with epic music in the background, just WOWed me. than i started plying the most addictive online multiplayer game ever. battles of 8 VS 8 on avalanche is great fun.
ODST brought a nice change as well, satisfying my curiosity of "what about earth?" during halo 2.
playing the halo reach bta just encourages me more.
with an epic storyline, epic music epic multiplayer, and epic weapons and veihcles, i think halo is the beat FPS franchise ever.
