I couldn't care one bit about exploding fruit in a game (unless it is fruit ninja).. but perhaps you all should worry about your own house before you start throwing stones (plus where is her gun??)

difference is they put all there graphics in hzd were halo they did not. there are physics just more into there robo dinos and there hit detection ect.

Not a big Halo fan but I'm happy it's being so well received. Although I'll just play the campaign, it's kinda awesome seeing cows ridicule themselves over fruit physics. Endless source of entertainment.

Certainly is. A flagship game should just not have bananas and melons act like that. I guess you're now downgrading your beloved TLoU2 from 'masterpiece' to 'average at best' thanks to the apples not reacting at all to the gun shots.

Look at that incredible looking smoke/particle effect. You know damn well ND is taking it seriously. 343i on the other hand, nobody knows what they were thinking with Infinite.

Seriously though, in a game that is all about world building you'd think they'd take the time to implement proper fruit physics. As you say it's tragic.

The gun vanishing is a bug. Infinite will have enough of them.

TLOU2 is pushing the ps4 as much as it can. They can't have everything on 2013 hardware that was outdated from day one. No excuse for Infinite😎

I doubt correct fruit physics has much to do with the hardware (MGS2 had it) but more to do with time and TLoU2 had more than enough time to have apple react correctly to bullets.

@gym_lion: Why would they only increase fruit physics? With ND, if they increase something, its for everything, not just fruits in a basket. Its obvious that the system couldn't handle it. Visuals alone, i think we can all agree that TLOU2 is a generation ahead of Infinite. If TLOU2 looked as bad as Infinite, it would easily have much better physics as a whole.

Still no excuse though. Sad really.

How so, they couldn't be bothered to add correct fruit physics either. Which is worse on a game that is all about world building. The apples kill the immersion.

Absolutely not OK with it, but i look at everything else, and i am astonished by the whole thing. I look at Infinite, and i ask myself where did that additional year went to.

This thread is about the physics though not the looks.

@gym_lion: Its not about the looks because Infinite has none🤷‍♂️If it was a true flagship title like it once was, it'd be rivaling Sony.

The amount of attention to detail in TLOU II is insane. There's hundreds of YouTube videos of people still finding stuff to this day.

To be blunt, I couldn't give two shits about that comparison. Is the game going to be fun to play? Don't get me wrong - the more fruit physics the merrier. But not even remotely on my radar when I think about what a new Halo (or CoD) should bring to the table
