Also guys, remember that all PS3 games so far have only used RSX for graphics, and not even much of its power. When PS3 uses Cell +RSX for visuals, we'll see more than what PS3 can do. I know the first Lem that comes in here will mock me and say"teh Cell" and crap like that, but its the truth guys.

first off, both Halo 1 and 2 got AAA so it gives fans hope and belief that 3 will be AAA as well, people have actually played a Halo 3 Beta, which gives the individual an idea whether the game is going in the right direction or not, we have seen and read tons of information on the game, so YES, people can actually hype the game and actually debate what they like and don't like about it.

Now to Killzone, the First game didn't get very good reviews, so to expect the second to be the best thing since slice bread is silly to begin with, can someone expect it to be better, sure why not, but you guys need to calm down a bit. Besides, again, nothing has been show about this game, NOTHING at all, so how can anyone hype it and say that it will be a halo killer or any kind of killer?

I don't own a PS3 or intend to, but I don't want the game to stink, but right now without knowing anything about this game,how can anyone in their right mind say that Killzone will be better than another game, christ for all we know it might not even get a higher score than The Outfit. or it might just make me kill my family, steal all their money buy a PS3 and 20 copies, who knows!

Mass Effect is a new IP, the devs making it doesn't make it a proven game. Mass Effect is still unknown. By your arguement, every game a succesful dev make is proven:? • FFX = 9.3
• FFX-2 = 8.2
• FFXII = 9.0

1. Oblvion scored a 9.6 which yes outscored FFXII.
2. Final Fantasy X-2 isn't dominating anything lol.
3. FFX scored well
4. FFIX didn't even get AAA

There is no doulbe standard. Halo has dominated Console FPS. Final Fantasy has not.

Um I thought you said this was a DEBATE. Debates in the non-fanboy world are based upon evidence and LOGIC, not OPINIONS and personal EMOTIONS. There is NO DEBATE if you choose to refute any arguement presented against you by simply shielding yourself with your OPINIONS. So, please, if you still consider this thread to be a debate, stop saying "I said Killzone COULD be better than Halo 3" because anyone can say "could", but what counts in the real world is the past tense or the present. Personally, I've never played Killzone so I can not comment on its quality but from what I've heard and read, it seems to be average at best. I never liked the Halo series except for splitscreen with some friends when we're boredand I prefer FPS on computer, but for most people and most reviewers, the Halo franchise WAS and ISa AAA and high selling franchise. The same could not be said about Killzone. Thus, HYPE for Killzone, based on absolutely NO info and seeing the pedigree of its developers, should NOT exist at such a high level.

Sony bubble? I have PS3 and 360 and I plan on getting a Wii. I've been gaming for over 15 years. I loved the SNES and other systems. You misread me, I said Killzone COULD be better than Halo 3. As of now Halo is the best multiplayer FPS out there, but something new could take its place in the future, thats all I said. So your telling me all the FF's were near perfect? FF8 didnt achieve FF7 standard, FF9 even less so, FF10 brought it back.

FF125 went litterally nearly unoticed anywhere but Japan, FF6 was great.

All FFs were great and improved, H3 didn't really improve much over H2. FF is a much more prestigious franchise than Halo will ever be, so don't compare the two. FF will still be pumping out great games 10 years from now while Halo will be long forgotten about.

Sony bubble? I have PS3 and 360 and I plan on getting a Wii. I've been gaming for over 15 years. I loved the SNES and other systems. You misread me, I said Killzone COULD be better than Halo 3. As of now Halo is the best multiplayer FPS out there, but something new could take its place in the future, thats all I said. You're the one in a Micro-bubble saying Halo is a dominating series but FF isn't. FF sold more copies than any other RPG series in the world, its also the most acclaimed series in the world as well, so I'm not only going by sales. Gamespot scores are the only scores that matter. I own all those games above anyways so maybe you should just put your head down in shame. The GS review is a fact your opinion is nothing to me. Nobody is fearing Killzone 2 lol. Hell at least I'm not. I'm just trying to find the logic why anyone would hype the sequel to trash *** garbage. With a game like KZ2 you wait and see if its good. You don't hype it.
