Halo is the greatest multiplayer experience available

Let's be honest here. Halo 2 is still played by thousands daily. It probably has more players currently than Crysis, and there's a reason for that.

And with Halo 3, I have yet to play a console or PC shooter that could top it. And I own/have played almost all the big name games out there for multiplayer. Call of Duty is a noobfest with auto-aim out the wazoo. TF2 on PC is so much of a cluster**** that you don't know what's happening. Halo has the perfect number of players, best map design for multiplayer, best competitions for itself, and most balanced weapons and layouts of any game available.

It's subjective. I like Team Fortress 2 more. You call it a cluster **** but I disagree. I have never laughed as much as I have on Team Fortress 2. And then when you get a good team, an awesome game can be played.

Halo 3 is fun too.

Well millions of people still play Counter-Strike everyday, and that's been out for 10 years. To say something is the greatest is really saying a lot, although you're obviously just a fanboy so this comment really doesn't matter does it?

While i do agree its the best multiplayer experience doesnt mean everything else suck. Call of duty modern warfare is easily up there, battlefield, socom is good,killzones good , warhawks good too. Its the best but that doesnt mean the rest are trash because they are not. Havnt played team fortress so cant comment on that one.

I agree. TF2 could have been great, but lol unlocks, lol bugs, lol everything. I wouldn't call it a cluster **** so much as a game appealing to noobs, and the like. The popularity of unlocks like the backburner, the huntsman, and the sandman prove it.

Halo 3 is the best online game imo since the old days of UT2k4, CS 1.6, and Quake. But I grew tired of Halo 3 just as I eventually grew tired of those other games after playing them for years, but sadly no company wants to deliver me a great online game.

I enjoy teamfortress 2 more as well, but in my experiance it seems the netcode isn't as good as halo's.

I like Killzone 2's multiplayer better. It's all preference really. SilverChimera

The sense of accomplishment after doing vidmasters or legendary playthroughs is 2nd to none. I've done insane on gears, veteran on cod..Halo's legendary is by far not the most intense, but its more fun as well. Soul crushing, yes. Cheap, nah. If you die alot in H3 legendary its cause you're not doin it right, cod or gears you can die out of no where and for no reason. The co-op is better than L4D that's for damn sure. Haven't played TF2 but I doubt its much different than L4D. DeadMagazines

Endure is kicking my ass, and I imagine once I conquer that Annual's going to come smach me around a bit as well.

Even though I think Confrontation is not better than SOCOM 1 and 2. I got to say more teamwork and planning goes into a SOCOM game than any other I have ever played. Halo on the other hand is always almost based on who can get there Crosshairs to the finish lines first (sniping), whoever has the more powerful weapons or has invisibility, and so on you get my point.

I concur... I'm not a Halo fanboy.... people who bash Halo are jealous fanboys. I'm not saying its not okay to dislike the game. Not everyone is going to like the same thing.... but there is a reason why its played so much, and why its loved by so many people. Most of the hate comes from angry PC fanboys.

I agree. I've played most other fps's (with the exception of BF2, Counterstrike, L4D) and I always keep coming back to it. It's just that good.
