I know you guys will say but those are on consoles, but the PC's versions usually have the best graphics, best online and mods.

Halo doesn't score or sell well on PC because its below average when you compare them to other PC games.

I'm sure there are many people who prefer Halo to PC FPS games. It all comes down to preference.

I know I personally like Timesplitters, a console FPS, more than any other FPS. I know people would laugh at that cause they think their Counterstrike or whatever is better, but it doesn't matter.

Point: Halo being inferior for you doesn't mean it's inferior for everyone else.

Tribes is superior and it's 10 years old 0_O.

32+ max players. 3 different types of armor, which limits movement and weapon selection. Many kinds of "equipment" in the form of "packs", (including a rechargable shield 0_o), flawless integration of the jetpack making for intense midair combat. Capture the Flag, Team Deathmatch, Siege, and Dueling are just some of the game modes. Quite a selection of vehicles, flying and ground. A wide variety and a creative arsenal of weapons. Voice commands, and animation emotes. Several differnt skins, can be male of female also. oh, and hundreds of quality mods.

Was a critically acclaimed game for its time, but the Tribes community moved on to other games and now is nearly non-existant. Of course, the games they moved on to, have all done more than Halo as well (Half-Life, UT, BF etc...)

PC games have more to live up to since its already flooded with AA-AAA titles while Consoles have a lower standard

halo does mean something to me though...it was the first real FPS that i played that eventually drived me to ge into the whole FPS genre. (also Far cry later on..that made me go" OMG..yeah im buying a gaming pc") so yeah halo means something to me..it popped my cherry:oops:
