halo reach is one of the best looking game this gen (no 56K)

just horrible I have the demo on my ps3 and damn i don't even know how ppl consider it the best looking game on the ps3. The controls for the game are also awful.

that was just a performance analysis. On a technical level resistance 2 just doesn't cut the mustard.

Hell, it even looks worse than resistance fall of man because of all the bright colors and ugly bloom everywhere. The atmosphere and art also took a nose dive in resistance 2.

Resistance 3 on the other hand... looks pretty fantastic.

Didn't mean on a technical level. But to be honest Art trumphs all. Resistance 2 looks flat out ugly most of the time...

Console Black Ops looks very poor, apart from set-peices which obviously don't count.

Looks good to me, the art quality is pretty high.

It's no PC game, and those backgrounds are merely textures pasted to a wall, but still ... looks good.

The Vistas look fairly dynamic to me

Halo Reach does look pretty,but I wouldn't say it's one of the best looking this gen.I might say that about the art style though.

I would say character models fall into KZ2's hands quite nicely.

And i thought i would add in a little New Alexandria ;) Halo Reach Isn't the best looking game this Gen. but anybody who says its a bad or average looking game has no idea. It looks FANTASTIC.

The skyboxes are really beautiful, but the rest of the graphics are sub-par. The character models are horrendous. There is some bad texture working. The gun models are low detail. The fire and smoke effects are just plain bad. 343 has some work ahead of them if they want the next Halo to be awe-inspiring.

halo reach single player probley had the most framerate issues ive seen this whole generation in a shooter.

halo reach's multiplayer runs pretty good, but the single player will hitch/chop the hell up at times it feels unpolished kinda.

the ears are more blocky on halo reach and face's less detail lack skin pores like black ops.

the tree's shadows on halo reach are a joke also, the shadows arent even accurate to the shape of the tree, the tree shadows way better on black ops.
