Those pics certainly are not helping your argument :P. It is pretty enough, but far form the best graphcis this gen. The water and ice look last gen in many ways and a lot of the textures are rather low and lack detail. It is a pretty game, but nothing amazing about it.
Based on those pics, it looks about as good as MAG...hbk7137You should have a look at MAG now after the bjillion patches, one of them pretty dramatically imrpoved the graphics as a whole.
and do you remember when reach beat it in everything that actually matters like gameplay, online modes, updates, features, easy to pickup and play ALONG WITH skill based gameplay, FUN!, 4 player co op, theatre mode, forge mode, endless online modes, full bungie.net support linked to your gametag + reach stats, and the list goes on and on. but you get better graphics so I loseWow, are people still trying to Hype this game as a Killzone 2 Graphical Killer???

looks like it has nice looking rocks here and there, but overall it gets trumped by other games graphically.
the model looks amzing, better then KZ2 or any fps on consoles. it does look good, especially the self shadows, i woudln't consider it phenomal though ,it doesn't appear to have tons of geometry but there is a fair amount of detail on the armor[QUOTE="GreyFoXX4"]OmG, just no, no, no, no, no and no. Halo 3 & Reach screenshot mode renders bullshots at 8064x4480, dividing each one in 16 smaller parts, then resizing the initial image to 620p resolution.
This implies that the bullshots taken from this mode are supersampled images that has 0 relation with the quality that the game that 360 can run in real time. Halo 3 & Reach looks miles behind what those screend you posted.

The art style and design is what makes this game so atractive and nice looking. It may not be technical the best, far from that but i like what i see, all this beautiful mountains and big environments look so nice and round.
KZ3 is of course technical far superior but it's art is so boring, too industrial for my taste, i prefer more natural environments, like in Halo and btw i didn't even play Halo Reach because i don't own a Xbox 360 anymore, just PS3, but i wish i would play it after seeing this mountain pictures.
I was like wow, that looks so awesome, really, i simply love this open environments, they look beautiful, but i have also seen many terrible locations from Reach, but well it's almost the same with every game.

KZ2 sty1e is badass with the real feeling of war and chaos + outstanding attention of detail in every leven in the game + I love industrial stuff, hard no-nonsence sci-fi and the overal design of Helghast faction is on par with Combine from HL2 and Brotherhood of Nod from C&C in the terms of epicness. On the other hand Halo lacks any attention to detail - levels are just dull plains or some low-poly boxy military bases with copy-paste everywhere. Enemies look silly and are awfully animated, so I just can't take them seriously. Noble team are Super Sentai wannabees, atleast MC was a Doomguy ripoff, so he had like tenth of Doomguy's badassness. Art is the weakest part of Halo obviously.

Halo is bright and colorful which is not the norm in most FPS. KZ3 would benefit from more open battlefields that let you decide how to take down the enemy. I love that KZ2 lets you take cover in FP. Something I wish other FPS would adopt because it makes so much sense and makes combat more intense.
