No. The game doesn't appeal to me. I prefer games that put more emphasis on recoil, aim, and timing. Not map memorization, meta gamed weapons, and bullet hose tactics.

90+ Metacritic and I buy it, if it gets below that I'm selling my 360.

Got it a month ago , reach was for sure one of the reasons. :)

If i ever get a 360 it'd be for ME2 and Alan Wake and not much else. I can play a Halo game any day i want at a friends house.

I didn't buy an Xbox for Halo 2, i didn't buy a 360 for Halo 3, ODST or Halo Wars, so i'm not going to buy one for Reach, if any, i'll buy a 360 for a much more appealing game like Alan Wake, DOA4 or ToV.

What is this game speak of then with recoil, aim, and timing? Because it better be miles ahead of Halo. I don't know if you noticed but Halo is held to a higher regard then any other game. Fine you'll have haters but nothing in this world is that popylar w/o some people wanting to be *Different*

I MIGHT buy the game if it was on PS3, but even then I probably wouldnt. I mean you are asking if I will buy one of the worst consoles ever to play a decent game :P. Haha I am of course overdoing my opinion, but thats the fun of it ;). I realize many people love their 360 and halo, so good for them, but for me the 360 is trash and halo while very good, is overrated, as is Killzone.

If I wanted to play Halo, I would have likely bought one for Halo 3. Although I did have a 360 and Halo 3, sold both. No, will not be buying one for Halo Reach.

Will be getting it. It's Halo, it's sort of something you just buy because everyone else is buying it, even if you aren't a fan. It has co-op and lots of modes, even if you aren't into the competitive MP it's still worth the dough.Hahadouken

Lol, and this my freinds is how MW2 got so much success even though it is terrible! Halo is better then MW2 no doubt though, so atleast this title is a quality one.

Yeah same here. Good game, but not great. Only title I really miss from 360 is Tales of Vesperia, the namco jerks wont bring it to NA on PS3, only Japan.

Well I dont play Halo online because I dont pay for Live and I dont like what they have done to the series, so once the single player disappoints me and once I have gone through the coop, the game wont be touched again most likely.

I wasn't very clear so it is partially my fault.

75% chance no 24.9% chance hell no.1% chance maybe. I don't want to buy anything with Microsoft's name attached to it after this year's E3 if I can help it. Plus there's that whole thing with Halo games where you really only own the full game for the first month or so, then you've got to start paying extra or your going to get cut from playlists. There's still been no word of an acceptable solution to their melee system woes, in fact they actually added a lenghtyassassinaton animation, just pointless flash and show that detracts from the game's actual playability. Been there, played that, bored of it.

No problem. Despite anything I may say I will not deny that all Halo games are good solid games, but for me, they just never reach the expectation built up by the hype.

Was really excited for it months back, and was thinking of saving for a 360 so I'd be ready when the game shipped.

Then I played the beta, and decided no.

The melee system they had to implement in leiu of dedicated server support. The one where the game doesn't even attempt to discern who activated their melee first and instead awards you both with the hit, and sometimes the kill too. It's the dumbest thing ever, and it doesn't happen in any other FPS I can think of. Have you ever stabbed someone in COD while at the same time getting stabbed by the player you're stabbing andthen both of you dying? No, because a system that stupid isn't functional. Unlessit's a Halo game, I guess.

Assassinations should be insta-kills, but in Reach they aren't. They lock you into an animation, removing your mobility and thus making you vunerable. If I got rewarded for taking someone downby somebody else coming up behind me while I was immobilized and then assassinating me, that would be the end of Halo: Reach for me. I can already see it happening, and it pisses me off, just the concept, the idea that the situation is such that this is even a possibility, it infuriates me. I am infuriated.
