Halo: Reach won't be that good, it won't score AAA

halo fans should look to other games a bit more. they think it's all about halo, but they're wrong. there are so many other, better, games to buy. but i guess they're just pissed since nearly all of their "exclusives" are actually multiplat, so they descide to just stick to playing one game...how sad.kweeni

Yes dude totally im going to agree with the person who has never even owned an xbox or 360, and probably has never even played a Halo game.

Do you realize how much pressure devs of major exclusives are under???

I remember interviews with Epic games talking about how much Microsoft was doing to make sure Gears of War was on schedule to turn out as good as Microsoft expected it to be.

These companies invest a HUGE amount of money into making these games, to think they would not put in the effort and take the chance on hurting their reputation is just flat out crazy.

Halo ODST was made by a small team while the majority of Bungie was working on Reach. If the word of mouth previews are correct, I'm guessing Reach will be a very good game, if not an amazing game. I doubt they will ever be able to match the quality of Halo CE since that was a once in a generation calibur of game, but I have no doubt they have it in them to make another amazing game in the franchise. Though I would like to see them spend a little more time on the story this time around.

So just because a gaming franchise is big, it will flop? Pretty ironic considering you have a MW2 avatar. I'm not much of a Halo fan, but I'll bet money that it'll score AAA.

psh. going by Gamespot, even ODST scored a 9.0 which is ridiculous. i mean, even those who bought ODST are kinda upset about the whole game. lol. and the multiplayer maps are also on Halo 3.

I truly have no idea how good this game will be. Of course, we know it will sell like hotcakes (or waffles, if you prefer).

I must admit though, I am mighty curious about the new engine they are using.

and i doupt it will sell as much as halo 3, people are getting bored of halo

they'll just keep milking the game till it dies

It's a totally new halo? Its not going to be like halo 3. Also if a halo expansion can get AAA a halo full game has it in the bag.

i was thinkin that xD it even came with a recycled MP disk especially with halo 3 being cheap now it seemed a little pointless for people who owned halo 3 but thaats purely my opinion on that subject.

But it did change the way people played and thought bout halo in the sense you cant be as much of a Arnie character.

That doesn't make any sense. Even if they fix problems ODST had, Halo Reach could have plenty of faults on its own, making it unworthy of AAA status.

Halo Reach will find a way to be AAA somehow, Bungie always finds a way to make Halo fresh somehow.
