@theam0g: High end graphics on a pc or not, when the assets and polys count is this low, a 3080 ain't gonna help you. This game was created with the original Xbone in mind. An incredibly outdated system that was a meme 8 years ago. The fact that some of you still refuse to accept this particular fact, is mind boggling to me. Not only does it fail visually, but this damn engine runs a bunch of animations at 30fps lmao. Wtf is up with that???

Look at this picture and pay attention to the grapple hook, the rocket and his arm. Now look at the details and texture work on some ancient titles such as Quake 4, and tell me with a straight face that there is a huge graphical difference (as it should. the game is ancient).

So.... no one else is gonna mention the game dropping from 60 fps often? Mkay then. Let's ignore.

Looks pretty damn good. Hope it'll be better than the first one (for me). I just couldn't get into it. Bought it on PS4 first. Didn't get me hooked. Got it later on Steam. Nope. Same thing.

Lots of great looking games on PS5, but none of them look as good as FH5 and MSFS. That may change with the next Horizon and GoW, but it's not the case right now.

Halo Infinite looks pretty bland and generic so it's not hard to beat.

The colors are just very bleh and so are the environments. Especially the multiplayer maps.

Again, I am playing on an Xbox One S so maybe it looks better on Series X. But Halo 5 looked better than this game.

Gameplay wise, Splitgate is almost identical and the Resistance titles were similar to Halo as well.

I see some folks are still trying to convince themselves that Halo is some kind of looker. It's mid to low tier in the visual department, move on already.

Reminds me of the weird angle taken when those cows attack Halo Infinite for lacking Ray Tracing, or doesn't have lush environment in a game that is in a man made universe on a Halo ring, while the game is getting rave reviews and can run at 120fps. But but but all the trees look similar!!

That's a pretty colorful trailer, but I wonder how it plays though - first one was pretty slow, I set it down and didn't go back.

The game running at its best visuals, in 60fps, and it looks like shit. Forget the 120fps (which it can't even achieve, so i am not too sure why you're even mentioning it).

Enjoyed the first game quite as bit... I think this will be even better.

The standard fps a good looking game is running at, 60fps. If Infinite wasn't running on such an ugly engine, fake 120fps wouldn't even be an option. But just like old ugly games (CoD comes to mind), you have access to possibly achieving 120fps for three seconds before it drops to 80's and 90's.

Yeah the new Horizon game looks good, but the thing that sort of bugs me is the use of fog. In the forest, for example, it looks like you're gaming on a 50-yard semicircle. It's like that episode of Rick and Morty where the aliens kidnap Rick and Morty and put him in the hologram, and they can only render a few blocks at a time. Well imagine that but only 50 yards.

So you end up with 50 trees instead of 200 on screen, yeah, they better look sexy as hell if you're limiting the trees that much.

I don't fault them for using tricks like that to save resources, though, don't get me wrong. I just fault the fanboys jizzing their pants every time Sony asks "cash or credit".

Yeah me too. People wonder why AAA gaming is in such a dire state these days. All we talk about is graphics and trends.

So the claims are based on a video with no gameplay full of cut scenes of a game not even out and you don't know what the fps will be.

Its a Sony exclusive. They don't use welfare engines, and optimize their games for their systems alone. All their games such as tlou2, gow, horizon, etc ran very well, and so will this. Infinite cannot run at a stable 120fps.🤷‍♂️

Totally wasting my time. But just for future reference according to you it's no completely acceptable to use a clip full of movie cut scenes and no gameplay as a true picture of a game and compare to others. They way you change goalposts is funny.

Nice excuses. You try so hard to damage control Infinite visuals, but like every single lem, you fail at it again and again.

The first game is kinda meh. Playing it on PC and there are just so many little things that mar the experience enough to not be great. Hitbox issues, melee combat sucks, the story is bland, and having to farm animals/plants to buy/make healing is just a chore. Otherwise, it's a good game just held back by a few too many issues.

Here's to hoping the new one is better, and that the PC version comes out relatively soon. I'll definitely be getting it, because I'm sure all of those problems will either be lesser or fixed.
