Looking past the bullshots, I think the games gonna be a looker. Whilst nothing groundbreaking, it'll certainly look good.

This game is destined to be in the 8s, it looks like halo 3 but better graphics...if this game get a 9.5 or above its hard to believe in GS after that.

Halo 3 wasn't trying to be a graphics show, so I wouldn't expect Reach to try & do so either. I'm sure it will have good graphics, but the beast of it will be gameplay.

Its gonna be AAA, It wont be on PS3. Itll create a upsurge in 360 sales due to MS ability to advertise their products.

It's not about your criticism of Halo but your emphasis on graphics...believe it or not but ppl can also enjoy games that are not graphics kings.

Whatever you are looking at remember this is beta for online.....at least that is what I thought. Usually the single player has much better graphics. Also Halo has never been known for it's graphics. Look at Halo ODST.....it had literally no improvement s over Halo 3 (which was considered sub par graphics wise when it came out). As long as Bungie gives the 8-9 million people that purchased the first Halo 3 what they want, who cares what the graphics look like. IMO, Halo fans care more about how the online plays rather than how it looks so ......we can't say graphics being below Killzone means anything right now.darthogre

Halo has always had mediocre graphics, but the gameplay is brilliant. Not AAA brilliant as i think the Halo franchise is over rated, but brilliant enough.

Why does Halo srsly have some terrible/repetative level designs? they're so boring and stale, i want less corridors and metalic area's and more foliage with rain/water falls. complex levels with some interesting spots for fire fights. soapandbubbles

err, okay. TC, Reach is more detailed than many PS3 games out there, but you had to give the most pathetic excuse for a game: Haze. Fine, we'll take Haze. Compare the textures of the environment from Haze (Those pathetic blocks of pixels you may call a tree) to the detailed environments in Reach, as lespaul1919 specified above. But this is not fair. Haze is a poor game, and comparing it to a AAA 360 game is a pathetic attempt at fanboyism. If you want graphic comparisons, bring on the Killzones.64316431

Obviously we'll have to wait, but I can't imagine it getting less than a 9. Whatever happens, I'm sure it will be my game of choice for years to come.

you have obviously never played halo 3 then. Sandbox, sandtrap, snowbound, valhalla, standoff, avalanche are all great big open maps offering pretty stuff to look at. anyway haters and fanboys all over the place.
