I'd take your word for it. But that wouldn't be the choice of a techie analyzing those pics.

The distant towers of the X1 version look sharper. There are even whole objects that aren't showing on the PS4 version like the street pole at the distance (highlighted below) along with the surrounding towers and background mountain details.

There are plenty of details missing in close and far objects that you don't seem to care about. If blurry is your opinion of superior, then I have no idea how we could move the discussion forward from here in a logical and objective manner.

That because the xbox one version doesn't have ambient occlusion which gives the image a softer view, which the PS4 version did have, the xbox one version has a sharpening filter which actually help it on that comparison, but as a side effect it bring to life every single jaggie the game has, which by the way i am not noticing on that screen,i saw the first screen posted in those comparison and the xbox one version had a horrible jaggies problems, which i don't see on that screen something doesn't add up with that xbox one screen.

Not only that the PS4 version was running faster while having AO which also hit performance,so once apply to the xbox one it will give it a softer look while lowering frames even more.

Xbox One version of BF4 does look better than the PS4 version, from the comparisons we've seen.

There hasn't been any other comparisons.

Hahahaa........ Denial at its best.

Extreme Denial

IGN did a video and And DF mess up is well know, jack frags also had one and he claimed the PS4 version looks best..

I think some dumb cow mentioned about being blind? No matter he does one post and never backs anything up.

If the "Weaker" hardware looks better now, imagine what the final version will look like after the day one patch?????

ON TOPIC: This will repeat for the life of the next gen multiplat cycle.

The day 1 patch has AO which will hit performance even more on the xbox one version, and soften the image like the PS4 has..lol

This comparison is not even apple to apple, the PS4 version was doing way more than the xbox one version, including Ambient Occlusion which hit performance and was hitting the PS4 one while the xbox one version ran without it,not only that AO will soften that image the xbox one lack it and is a mess of jaggies.

That day 1 path will come down to hunt you people.

Eyes do not lie. Only PS4 fanboys do. I am happy with how it looks and it's only going to get better. Hang on!!!

Such denial the xbox one version had to turn off AO to be able to keep up with the PS4 frames wise and still is behind, horrible jaggies every where,oh and have you seen multiplayer.? Wow the xbox one version look 360 like..hahaha 720p minimum i dare say..

Loading Video...

Before you say anything scroll to 1 minute 49 seconds...lol

That look 360 bad now you can resume your usual pretending shill.

Everyone who's seen both versions in person have said that the PS4 version's superior. Why are we still debating this? Just accept it and move on.

A few MS shills can't admit it...haha

real ps4 footage, none of that DF washed out shit.

DF's PS4 capture is 1:1

The funny sh** is that from all the sites that can screw up DF the one defending the xbox one non stop for month is the one that mess up and in favor of the xbox one again how convenient..lol

Videos from other sources confirmed it the PS4 version on DF was mess up,both look sharp while the xbox one version is a jaggiefied mess do to been 720p,worse the xbox one version was without AO and still it was slower than the PS4 version in frames, you know AO gives also a softer look to the image which the PS4 has while the xbox one version for some very strange reason didn't have.

I mean aside from BF4 (which X1 seemed to have won that round), has there been any other multiplats video comparison that I missed?

XBox One looks a bit better, but the PS4 performs better and has less FPS drops. Still the comparisons so far for BF4 and CoD isn't final yet because both of these games will have patches for the XBox One versions.

Those expecting miracles with the day one patch are in for a shock,AO has a hit to performance, and will hit the xbox one version, which is already running slower,it will also softer the image as well.

You have issues, T.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-battlefield-4-face-off-qa

Wow, it's certainly been a wild and crazy day, with all manner of questions and even accusations floating about concerning our Battlefield 4 coverage. Time to take stock and comprehensively address the queries surrounding our article:

The big question - did Digital Foundry botch its Battlefield 4 captures?

We've now examined Xbox One and PlayStation 4 game and UI/dashboard elements and have concluded that the equipment did exactly what was asked of it - it acquired digital video in a mathematically lossless format at 1080p60, in the full range RGB (0-255) colourspace. Dashboards and control panels were all set accordingly to match the requirements of the equipment. We're now satisfied that the captures on PS4 and PC are exactly as they should be - digitally lossless transmissions of what came out of the hardware.

So what's going on with Xbox One?

Xbox One was also acquired at full range 0-255 RGB with the dash set accordingly, in line with the other versions - exactly how we approach every Face-Off. We have now had informal confirmation from a very good source that current Xbox One hardware has issues with full-range RGB output that are not present on either PC or PS4. We asked DICE for comment and were told that they are "investigating the video output range and settings for Xbox One".

Is this the result of you processing the footage to make it look better compared to PlayStation 4?

Um, you don't make a game look better by crushing subtle detail. The lowering of dynamic range like this physically can't make a game look better - it can only look worse.

Also, higher FPS on Xbox One.

Lower resolutions are easier to run. Not rocket science
