@GioVela2010: So you paid 10k for your speakers?
If so, that's awesome. It's kind of hard to believe a guy who admits to lying though.
Then again, I'm sure you won't lose any sleep over that haha
and receiver + sub , not just Speakers

Your "argument" or topic if you will implies that because IT CAN means that we have... If we do that with PC users we can just call it a day because we are all rocking KEF X300A with 35" 3440x1440 200Hz HDR monitors with SLI Titan Z's.
Also your whole FPS thing?... Nah. Its noticeable.
HDR is the ONLY advantage consoles have, you don't have resolution/settings/framerate hell the X1X doesn't even have exclusives.
But your not, you’ve had HDR capable GPU’s for 2+ years, and there is a grand total of 1 PC Game with HDR and Atmos.
Battlefield 1
Resident Evil 7

No Atmos
I don’t see how anyone can deny this.
FPS is only noticeable when the frame rates are all over the place, if the frames are locked at 28-30 FPS nobody will notice the lower FPS.
Ultra Settings vs Very High Settings is very hard to notice unless professionals like Digital Foundry are pausing/slowing videos and telling you exactly what to look for.
Where as 9 speaker Surround Sound and HDR is immediately perceived by the user vs SDR and Stereo Sound.
It really doesn’t get any better than an Xbox One X Game with HDR and Atmos, at least not from a smack you in your face check this out sort of way.
Nope

Digital Foundry had the following to say about Witcher 3’s HDR implementation
“HDR is a night and day upgrade to SDR”
”This is how it always should have looked”
”HDR is a truer more correct representation of the artwork”
”SDR suddenly looked dull by comparison”
”Gives consoles a very tangible advantage”
”HDR leaves it with a distinct advantage, over even PC”

Strictly best looking goes to Xbox One X with HDR

It’s spot on, and the latest quotes regarding HDR prove my reading comprehension is correct.
you’re clearly in denial

I suppose he thinks HDR is more important than fps, texture, and foliage detail. Where is that devilish laugh emoticon?
Let's not forget the fact that HDR may still be coming to the PC version.

I remember back in the day where he claimed the 360 looked better than PC versions because it could be played on a plasma tv vs pc's lcd monitors

That's not really the 4k Scorpio version is it?
@GioVela2010
Using Digital Foundry? Are you stupid? DF's reviews have PC comming out on top nearly all the time. Over 90% of their analysis shows PC as the definitive version with better fps and/or gfx. Video gaming is factually better on PC.
Including Witcher 3,
"For our money, the 4K mode on Xbox One X gives the smoothest, best-looking take on The Witcher 3 outside of the PC space."
Hahaha

Yet you ignored that I could hook up my pc to my 50" plasma out in the living room eh? And yet you ignored the fact that the 360 even on a plasma was running those games with graphical settings at or below the lowest pc settings let alone sub HD resolution. So again what is the difference between then and now with your argument..... Nothing at all....

lol this was 4-5 years ago. and Yah your Plasma was bad compared to mine, you should have felt bad
Seems you're trying very hard to convince yourself of that.
You’d just need to sit thru The Witcher 3’s Opening Scene at my house to understand
I am not so sure I could explain that to my wife.
If I come, can we build a fort?
how deceptive of a camera angle can you get/ just like every word that comes out of your mouth. just an attention grabbing idiot.

That's the 4k version, albeit in a smaller screen. It's a youtube vid screen, but I was having a hard time finding any actual screenshots online. If someone wants to give us some direct xbox one x screens of The Witcher 3, they are more than welcome.
I kinda don’t
You lied about the price of your speakers and used a cheap cop out that you forgot a "0" which doesn't freaking add up. In the post you said that you mentioned the 1,000$, you said that you didn't pay much for them which falls right in line with a 1,000$ price tag. You paid freakin' 10K and tried to pull a fast one on us. Unless you think the average dudes we are don't consider 10,000$ a lot of money. That was a lie.

That’s why I said “kinda” :)
@GioVela2010: Why the hell are you using a 12K$ home theater with a piece of shit 500$ console?
The Best HDR support
The best Dolby Atmos Support.
As a Home Theater Enthusiast things like Contrast Ratio, Color Saturation, Color Accuracy, and Audio are more important to me than resolution and fps, even in games.
@GioVela2010: Except Dolby Atmos is supported by like 7 games and HDR is now a common feature of PC games. The list of games supporting both HDR and Dolby Atmos is less than 10. You ain’t really getting your money’s worth with this short ass list.
It’s not used strictly for gaming lol, I get my moneys worth in other ways too, but the support will keep coming and the gap will keep widening.
And PC list has 1 Game, that wouldn't be any better
@GioVela2010: Neither is particularly good though but the thousands of games PC is better at offset the handful of games that have HDR+Dolby Atmos. I also don’t think the gap will widen. Rather it will shrink. PC HDR support is more and more common and newer monitors support HDR as well. Dolby Atmos will also see more frequent adoption on the PC space.

Agree to disagree, and if I’m wrong I’ll build another PC
@GioVela2010: So you think PC HDR support will shrink when it’s currently growing?
No i don’t think it’ll shrink, I think X1X HDR Support will grow at a faster rate

He's on the record saying controller > kbm/m FOR FPS INCLUDING Unreal and Quake. 24 fps > 60 fps due to cinematic reasons. His TV makes Xbox superior to PC. His TV makes Xbox360 superior to PC. His mind is stuck in an alternate dimension.
It's like politics and how Republicans think Global Warming is fake even though facts state otherwise.
Team mentality over rationality. He's always said consoles have had better gfx, no matter how extreme the gap. He is essentially using that same failed laughing stock debate in this thread. But objectively, it's worthless. These games ARE better played on PC, objectively. They look better. They run better. End of discussion.
He's linked Digital Foundry, which explicitly states PC holds a better experience for as significant majority of current gen games. Including Witcher 3. Multiple tech sites have videos showing the same results. He knows this, he's commented on them.
TLDR: Extreme and long held fanboyism.
@GioVela2010: Possible but I doubt it. Aside from retroactive upgrades on consoles, I believe most high-profile games will feature HDR support on all platforms. Most recent example being AC:Origins.
Xbox has like 30 more HDR games than PC, when we c look back at this a Year from now do you believe the gap will widen or narrow?
Also PC HDR can be a pain in the ass from what I’ve read on more than one occasion.
just a small example

Fact of the matter is, all the systems can have possible issues. Consoles aren't plug and play, anymore.

We all have opinions. I believe An X1X is better suited for my Setup. Thr PC fanboy reasoning of “144hz bro” does nothing for my Home Theater. But your low level IQ Can’t comprehend this, SAD.
We’re being adults right now and honest, stop being a bitter fanboy over what I prefer for my setup.
PS: The Witcher looks and sounds better on my setup than yours
