Windows and MAC OS are competition of each other people, if one game on windows is also on MAC OS that means it's not exclusive.

I'm gonna tell you a secret if you tell me who's the guy in your avatar.
The guy in his avatar is Aaron Steven Haddad who currently works for WWE under the ring name as Damien Sandow. Now here's the funny part, this character's gimmick is that he's the intellectual savior of the masses.

Dell and Samsung are competition of each other people, if one game on a Dell laptop also works on a Samsung laptop that means it's not exclusive.Vaasman
Exactly!
If a game works on both AMD and Nvidia card,it's not exclusive!
Same applies to CPUs and motherboards...
Let's take it even further,if a game works on Intel I5 and I7,it's also not exclusive!
Damn,I love this place!
RSX was co-developed by nvidia and nvidia cards are used in PCsPS3 confirmed for garbage 0 exclusives.
Oh crap...
360 Xenos GPU was developed by AMD,which means 360 too has no exclusives...
Time to wipe the term of the map.
Hear that,SW?
Exclusives don't exist anymore, you may thank Davekeeh for that! :D

I can run Mac on my PC... because its just another OS. can you say the same for the 3 consoles you lump up as one to try and compare to the PC. no :lol:MBirdy88
LOOOL. Just look at the first sentence of Mac OS X EULA
APPLE INC.
SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR MAC OS X
For use on Apple-branded SystemsMac OS X EULA
What are you gonna tell us about next ... emulators?
Hmmm. I completely forgot about Bootcamp on my Mac Mini. I think I'l install XP Home on it like this guy did with Win 7:
Hermits are so funny, they completely ignore the picture in the openings post clearly stating 2 different platforms the PC and the MAC.
They claim the MAC and the PC are one and the same because they are both personal computers. That's just as insane as saying PS3, 360 and the WII are one and the same because all three are consoles. Face it Hermits, you have no exclusives since all good games on the PC will become multiplatform anyway.
If the MAC and PC are one then explain this:

I guess that settles it. Pretty sad seeing as the PC has been out for such a long time yet it still gets beaten by consoles when it comes to exclusives.
So if you don't wanna miss out on all the great exclusives out there, you really need to go buy a console because you ain't getting any on the PC.Davekeeh
"Mactels" are just Intel UEFI enabled Intel x86-64 PCs. If one has non-Apple branded PC with similar parts as the official Mactels, then you have a better chance running MacOS X.

Nobody cares, it doesn't change the reality of the situation then again. a Mac is a PC and yes emulation is great too, its sad you console kiddies miss out on something so great but you know any excuse included ridiculous laws that prohibit you doing something that causes no harm and is not even enforced. Hacking, Emulation, Modification, all used in academic groupings, nobody gives a flying F*** about petty things like that. absolutely pathetic last ditch effort by console gamers to try and get a 1 up.[QUOTE="KiZZo1"][QUOTE="MBirdy88"]

360 is a console, ps3 is a console, wii is a console. LOL so they are all the same as well great to know.
You can run 360 OS on your on your PS3 can play 360 games on your PS3? How about the other way around, can a 360 run PS3 OS and play PS3 games? No?
...I can run Mac OS and play Mac games on my PC, Mac OS can run Windows and play PC games...
You consolites are always using all three consoles against PC anyway so, nothing new here. Just shows which is the best system if you need to use three other systems in an attempt to claim ownage against it.

I agree. WindowsPC, MacPC, and LinuxPC. "PC" is not a correct term to describe personal computer gaming anymore than "Console gaming" is.
StormyJoe
Incorrect...
All of the listed OS can work on the same hardware...
No matter what OS you use,the platform remains a "PC",so nothing wrong with using the term.
Then there is also dual boot, where you run more than one OS on a single PC...
As pointed out countless times, that doesn't apply to closed systems like consoles, you can't install PS3 OS on a 360,and vice versa...
But if consolites wish to believe PC has no exclusives, fine by me...
Whatever helps them sleep at night... :)

All games list PC & Mac as separate platforms.
Yes, but its more about compatibility? EVERY SINGLE GAME IS ON WINDOWS, only a select few Windows games are on MAC (though the list grows) .... and Windows can run Mac and vice versa. There is no giant wall stopping a singular PC from doing both because the seperate OS are optional tools for the user to pick from. I have Windows 7, Windows 8, Ubuntu and Mac OS X on my computer.... what now? are you saying my computer is no longer a singular PC? dont make me laugh.lol @ the console nub who thinks hes discovered a brilliant new way to bash the PC. Man why has this never been brought up before  PS3 has no games, deal with it.
On a brighter note, Everton gubbing Man U and not losing their first game as they do ever season really has put a shine on this week!

That is NOTtrue. You can only run OSX legally without an Apple motherboard, which Apple does not sell. In every other context, Windows PCs, Linux PCs, and Mac PCs are different. Fact of life, end of story.

But what if next gen PS and Xbox have similar hardware and could run each other's software? Would you be allowed to do so?
A platform is more than software and hardware - it also includes legal stuff.

MacOS can only run on some PC's. Oyu have to have the correct hardware for it. Windows can run on all pcs like you said though.Unless you install illegal emulation software, OSX cannot run on a non-Apple motherboard. There is a chip on Apple boards that is used to ensure the hardware is Apple's. Emulators can emulate the chip signal, but that doesn't take away the fact that it is illegal.

But I do know it's possible.
In any case,MAC is a PC (personal computer),and this whole argument is useless.

Yes it is. The EULA for OSX clearly states that you are only allowed to run it on Apple hardware. Mac PCs and Windows PCs are different in every context outside of SW. So, why should SW be different?
