Hope for the Xbox?

With the PS3 on an AAA roll this year, and the Wii picking up some good titles, do you think there is hope for the Xbox this year?

With few top titles on the horizon for the 360, do you think the pressure is really on MS to announce promising titles?

Titles with real promise, not Lips 2 and In the Movies : the Empire Strikes Back, but new and interesting IPs?

They're called multiplats, and they're often forgotten on System Wars.

They really need to announce some good exclusives.

Even if they don't (unlikely), i'm sure the 360 can weather the year on multiplats, and the few games we've heard about.

I predict 2 AAAs for 360, maybe a 3rd one.

They're not forgotten. It's just the fact you can't use a multiplatform game to validate the purchase of your chosen console. And that's all system Wars is.

All these threads popping up are hilarious.:lol: Reminds me of awhile back when every other thread was entitled something like, "Death of the PS3" or "The PS3 is on it's last breath." Seriously though, I am willing to bet that M$ will have a thing or two up their sleeves at E3. All this silence is making me kind of think so at least. One can hope anyway, as there is not much in the way of exclusives that I am looking forward to on the 360 thus far in '09.

Hey waiting worked for the cows. But for the lems they have a nice backlog ofAE, AAE, and AAAE games...

So cows think that Infamous getting AAA means there's no hope for the 360? lol wut?

They should be more concerned about the sales for that game. Sony's giving everything they got right now and if that game doesn't do well then there won't be any hope for them in the future.

Well if you are using that "Logic" Sony gave up on the PS3. Because they did not "release" any games for the PS3

Gears 2 isn't old, Fable 2 isn't old, Tales of Vesperia isn't old... hell Halo 3 is still getting a ton of support. I hope Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 will last you cows til the end of the year, because Infamous is single-player only and will probably only last you guys a month, if that.

People call Halo 3 overrated so I call Infamous overrated by far.

So sony pushing back all its games into a time when big hits aren't really released is a good thing now? Because 360 had a wonderful christmass and released everything on schedule there is no hope for 360....

Well Dead Rising andCrackdown are great fun games and they are afew years old, it would not be the same game too, the 360 has alot of Ae-AAe games andhave alot of variety

That is a problem, you can't only look at one year (well a half of one). The 360 is in a dry spot for exclusive games. Similar to the PS3s first year.

I still say Alan wake could make it out this year. I doubt GT5 or GOW3 are going to make it out this year.
