People have a hard on for graphics and scores. I personally don't get it, if something is fun its served its purpose. To me AAA, AA, A doesn't matter because my enjoyment can't ever be described by a score.

Surely after all these years people have had the chance to save up the money to own all consoles? I can understand arguing about new consoles but this is just sad. The playstation 3 has failed in keeping the PS2s audience. They have come in third place. The 360 is lead main console but honestly lacks the decent exclusives in comparrison. Both main consoles lost to the Wii MASSIVELY in sales to a console with what is reguarded to have the worst games.

Honestly if we all stuck with PC the world would be a better place... :P

I've owned a PS3 since launch and an XBOX 360 for around 2 years. My thoughts are:

Games
At the moment it really is a straight tie. Both consoles have some great exclusives. My favorite are Alan Wake, GOW, Heavy Rain and Uncharted. Gameplay is completely relative so it's a dead heat. TIE

Graphics
I've got to say that it's so close on this one but I have to go with the PS3. Not really had enough WOW moments whilst playing on XBOX compared to PS3. GOW3 and Uncharted 2 (and 3 in 3D) are jaw dropping. Still a very close race though. PS3

Controller
360 hands down. more comfortable over extended periods of time and the anologue stick placement is perfect. Build quality is about the same. Prefer the PS3 for charging but with a £10 battery pack then the XBOX is just as good. XBOX 360

Online
Truth is that i've not used XBOX live at all so far so cannot compare. PSN is great though and free. Never had a single problem whilst playing online. Fast and reliable (if you can forgive the hiccups which eventually gave me 6 free games afterwards). N/A

Disk format
short and sweet PS3 bluray wins. LA Noire etc on 3 disks is just ridiculous.PS3

Future
As mentioned countless times the 360 is just about reaching it's full potential after enjoyed a long, happy run. You may not see much more from Microsofts flagship console and I expect the PS3 to exceed what the XBOX is capable of before long (If games like Last Guardian ever see the light of day). However I think the timing of the 720 is perfect compared to Sony's PS4(?) which if released next year comes far to early. XBOX 360

Overall Result
I think it's great we have these two giants of the gaming world pushing each other to produce some of the best games ever made. It would be a sad day when either is layed to rest so the winner of the system wars for 2012 is... THE GAMING PUBLIC

Sorry but the WII is **** and the WIIU looks ****ter.;)

Aside from the games (of which, for me at least, there aren't many in the exclusives department). you have to pay for Live, and now with things like Online passes people who play MP games on the Xbox are paying more than ever. Not only that, but it seems that Kinect is now the main focus, outside a few games like Halo 4. Why would anyone say they support the 360 as a system over other systems?

This is coming from someone who owns an Xbox 360 without Live and has no PS3.
