Well your first problem was playing on the ps3.Gh0st_Of_0nyx
Yup and his 2nd problem is that he or she is playing the inferior version of Fallout3
I was playing on a buddy's PS3 and was playing some Oblivion but man it's hard to use a gamepad let alone a DS3 to play Oblivion. I was playing his mage character and I couldn't hit anything with my flares. Some games are better off on PC's than consoles (FPS, RTS, some RPG's) consoles should just stick to the games they're meant for (fighters, platformers, action/adventure, sports)corn_dogsi guess its what you're used to. personally, i've never had a problem with the gamepad layout for either title.
[QUOTE="Gh0st_Of_0nyx"]Well your first problem was playing on the ps3.corn_dogsIt's the better of the console version. Even though XBox gets the better version for both Fallout 3 and TES4 :O
Well your first problem was playing on the ps3.Gh0st_Of_0nyxDoes that makes any sense? And TC, people are used to what they like the best. I can't play comfortably FPS on a PC even if they are "supposed" to be best played on them. To each his own.
It's the better of the console version.[QUOTE="corn_dogs"][QUOTE="Gh0st_Of_0nyx"]Well your first problem was playing on the ps3.heretrix
No it isn't. Not by any stretch of the imagination.
Why not?[QUOTE="Gh0st_Of_0nyx"]Well your first problem was playing on the ps3.corn_dogsIt's the better of the console version. I just spat out my drink in laughter at that one. Good joke.

Straight from the IGN review "The PS3 version is a definite technical improvement over the 360 version"[QUOTE="Gh0st_Of_0nyx"]Well your first problem was playing on the ps3.corn_dogsIt's the better of the console version. Oblivion, Yes. Fallout 3, No.

Guys, he's talking about Oblivion, not Fallout 3. Oblivion on the PS3 was definetly better.

The PS3 version of Oblivion is a technical improvement of the 360 version.
However it doesn't matter. PC has the best version of all. That's the point of my post.
[QUOTE="heretrix"][QUOTE="corn_dogs"] It's the better of the console version.DealRogers
No it isn't. Not by any stretch of the imagination.
Why not?It isn't graphically it's pretty much the same and it isn't getting any DLC. At least not yet. Until then NO.The Fallout 3 DLC looks like it's going to kick ass.
And the best version is the PC version so it really doesn't matter.

Straight from the IGN review "The PS3 version is a definite technical improvement over the 360 version"Oblivion yes, Fallout no. Besides, with this type of game, I'd rather use the 360 over the PS3 controller.

Straight from the IGN review "The PS3 version is a definite technical improvement over the 360 version" Which is why IGN gave the 360 version a 9.6 and the PS3 version a 9.4 for FO3, right? Also, straight from the GS review of PS3 Oblivion, "The PlayStation 3 version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is every bit as impressive as the Xbox 360 and PC versions. However, this isn't necessarily the best version of the game."It's the better of the console version.corn_dogs
No it isn't. Not by any stretch of the imagination.
Straight from the IGN review "The PS3 version is a definite technical improvement over the 360 version" Link? Oh and I hope "The technical improvement over 360" has fun with the 3 expansions. Oh wait![QUOTE="heretrix"][QUOTE="corn_dogs"] It's the better of the console version.corn_dogs

Straight from the IGN review "The PS3 version is a definite technical improvement over the 360 version"Meh, I though you were talking about Fallout 3. You know, a game that isn't 2 years old and a year late on the PS3.

You got confused here dude. He was refering to Oblivion, and he said better console version.

Well your first problem was playing on the ps3.Gh0st_Of_0nyxWRONG!!! Oblivion plays way better on PS3 then on xbox, it looks better too, with further view distance and better textures. The only reason you say that is because you, like some of the other closed minded lemmings, bash anything ps3 related. PS3 was the king console for Oblivion, like apparently 360 is for fallout3, PS3 would be for fallout 3 too, if it wasn't just ported. You see with Oblivion they did it from scratch and improved it adding extra features and improving the engine. If M$ didn't bribe Bethesda then the PS3 version would most likely be better then the 360 version, just like it was with Oblivion.

Spoken by a rabid lemming of course you people deny it. The PS3 version was developed after xbox version of Oblivion, and has improved draw distance, textures and better frame rate. It was proven long ago when it came out. Just because you don't own a ps3 and like to bash things you don't own, why? I don't know why fanboys do this..insecurity maybe, the nativity of youth? Or just to annoy people that aren't rabid fanboys ?[QUOTE="Gh0st_Of_0nyx"]Well your first problem was playing on the ps3.world69star69WRONG!!! It was a slightly better game visually but otherwise, no. It's inferior to both the Xbox 360 and PC versions. No, I just get sick of seeing the same people thread after thread bash everything ps3 related when they don't own one or never even played on. Most of which is done by young kids who can't afford one and bash it because it's out of their price range. They say games are bad just because it's on the ps3, they say mgs4 is crap, they say all this stuff when in reality the ps3 is a fantastic console with fantastic games. I think the ps3 gets way more hate then it should is all. When I here comments like "Well your first problem was playing on the ps3." when these same people post hate on the ps3 every other thread it gets rather annoying, and they do it for that reason. When good exclusives come out they can never say anything positive or at least natural.... I am sorry as a gamer I will give credit to a game no matter what console it is on, it's the hardware and the companies i tend to judge. But just because I think 360 hardware is the worst console hardware ever made, and the company is ripping people off by making them pay for online.... I won't, I refuse to bash their games, just because they are on the 360, that is not being a open minded gamer that is being an idiot as there are tons of games on both consoles worth playing. I've played plenty of good 360 games at my friends house and the pc versions. world69star69You won't bash the 360, even though you did it three times in this thread alone. Nice work...?

I never said I wouldn't bash 360 hardware or MS as a company and the way I don't like their business practices...I do that all the time as it is true stuff, their hardware sucks, they make you pay for online and they bribe 3rd party devs for dlc....and they make rabid young fanboys and a immature online community in the process. All that aside, my dislike for the system, I WILL NOT bash a game just because it's on my 360, if you read my post, that is what I said....I never said I wouldn't bash 360 hardware...which I will be happy to do, as it's true! :)
Im the opposite. I dont see how PC gamers can play Oblivion and other games of the sort on keyboard. Mouse is ok, but trying to remember where all the keys are on 110keys is impossible to me. And im not the only one in that boat. I have several people I talk to about gaming and they feel the same way. So, we use a gamepad that utilizes every button to its fullest and makes the game playable to those not able to spend 100hrs figuring out keys.
i bet i will be wrong to sooo many though...i will check back later to see how wrong i really am and just didnt know it...off to bed...

Hahaha:roll:
His second was his, almost complete, lack of hand/eye coordination...At least thats what I get out of people somehow not being able to use gamepads. No offense of course.

FunkyHeadHunter
Fallout 3 only uses 10 keys (WASD for movement, Shift for run, Space for jump, Tab for the Pip-Boy, C for crouch, E for activate, and V for Vats) + the 3 mous buttons.
