How does it feel knowing this.........is stronger than all your consoles?

Ubisoft sucks at porting console games to PC.

This has been known for a while, Splinter Cell and RSV were both badly optimized for PC

Example: ME on 360 bad frames, PC 8800 GT 60 FPS locked in HD

You must hate Fallout, baldurs gate, starcraft, half life and warcraft then as none of these games have any great graphics anymore.

that argument is as falwed as the TCs argument. ure saying that its outdated in 6 months and are probably insinuating that PC gamer will need to upgrade....which is absolute nonsense. and if thats outdated in 6 months then just think how far behind the ball the consoles are? they already are old hat from a technical standpoint, cutting edge in absolutely no area what so ever. yes consoles last 3-4 years but there already out of date from a technical standpoint.

and TC, a gpu is not going to single handedly beat a console....it doesnet run the entire game on its own. u still need therest of the PC. so im not sure what ure trying to prove here. also the 360 does not run an x1900 anything...its basically a HD 2400. still a rubbish card by PC standards granted...but thats basically what it is. also both the x1900 and the 7800 are very respectable cards that put out some pretty good performance. there not going to max crysis but theyll put on a good show none the less.

Regularly Update? I havent upgraded my PC in 1.5 years and it runs every game maxed 4xaa 8af at 1680x1050 60 fps +

Having to optimize settings? You just choose high which most PC gamers will (8800 and 9600 gt selling like hotcakes)

I'm glad that we don't have to pop in and play, because we get free maps and mods for installing games. (example: we have like 50+ COD 4 maps and hundreds in development while you have to tilll sometime in Spring for 3 maps!!!)

PC is soley built for games? A console is a watered down PC with restrictions and p2p online play. enjoy that

1. The PC 'ports' of certain console games look much better on PC. Hate to burst your bubble. Same with multiplat titles.

2. Reularly update your PC? You dont HAVE to, and you dont need to, especially with the grossly overpowered hardware that dishes out amazing performance for a low price - like the 8800GT, and cheap Core 2 Duos (and DDR2 ram). Personally I hardly ever upgrade. No point, everything runs on my system, only upgrade when its really lacking.

3. 'optimise settings' for each game? Uh setting the native res, then just turning all options to high? Oooook. At least you can scale performance per visuals how you please, rather than being stuck with an appaling framrare (ala Mass Effect on 360).

4. Console exclusives, PC exclusives. Big deal. The PC has the most AAAEs and AAEs (let alone AEs), so its the single most strong system when it comes to titles. If you rather different games fine.

5. Not soley build for games?..... It feels just fine because it plays games better than the PS3 and 360 - with all its control options, hardware, usermade content and online capabilities.....

Technically Fallut 3 isnt a rehash since its by a completely different dev team in a different perspective, no longer turned based and alot of other changes to what the previous titles in the franchise were. You could say that now its just a shooter rehashing an old franchise but its not technically a shooter since your attributes affect hit chances etc.

Crysis is one of the best FPS ever, most people that hate it are console people who never played it
