[QUOTE="Relys"][QUOTE="Painballz"][QUOTE="Cranler"][QUOTE="cobrax25"][QUOTE="Cranler"][QUOTE="Painballz"][QUOTE="Serbiam"] How does it feel to have games that look just as good come out on consoles first....(ports)
How does it feel to have to regulary update your PC system to keep up with games? MORE MONEY? YES OH YES!
how does it feel to have to optimizing settings for certain machines to better run the game?
How does it feel not to be able to pop in and play?
how does it feel not to get some of the best exclusives ONLY consoles have?
how does it feel knowing PC isn't soley built for games?
..???

Regularly Update? I havent upgraded my PC in 1.5 years and it runs every game maxed 4xaa 8af at 1680x1050 60 fps +
Except for the only game that actually took graphics to a new level. Crysis.
Pc graphics improvement has never been so slow.
2 years after Xbox launched, pc had a bunch of games that could crush xbox graphics. This gen its only Crysis. No wonder the hardware is is running games maxed longer.
Is that why every multiplat looks better on the PC?
is that why if you look at the best looking games currently out or announced (Crysis, World In Conflict, Project offset, Farcry 2. Alan Wake...etc) they are all PC based.
Is that why out of the 5 games nominated for best 2007 graphics, 3 were PC only, and the other one has better graphics on the PC?)
None of the pc versions of multiplat games crush the 360. Have you played Assassins Creed on 360? I find it more impressive than anything on pc besides Crysis. I have an 8800gt so I've played every released pc game maxed.
1 year after xbox launched pc got NOLF2 and UT2k3. Those 2 games were way ahead of xbox graphics. Why? Beacause they were designed for high end pc's of the time. Look at Project Origin and UT3 both from the same dev teams and boths graphics are designed with consoles in mind.
Here we are 2 1/2 years after the 360 launch and the pc has only 1 game thats far and above 360's graphics and there still isnt even a graphics card out that can run Crysis well.
According to recent benchmarks, they AC on PC looks amazing. Better than console versions
It also ran like **** on my computer.
Dude, you have an X1300 thats one of the worst cards in history.
But thats pre-built for ya
Then why do games like FarCry, Oblivion, and Half Life 2. Look and run better than Assassins creed.. Terrible optmization.
Assassins Creed didn't run well, because of terrible programing.
The graphics were n64 and the game crashes were frequent.
Optimization is the reason I do not invest large sums of money on my PC.
