How is the PS3 doing so well in Europe?

Actually as far as i know the 360 is outselling the PS3 in the UK.

I'm having to say this over and over and OVER again - the UK is where it's at in Europe for video games. We buy it up like crazy, we're the Japan in europe or the America in Europe.

The rest of Europe isn't as big on games as the Uk, yes it sells but the beef of it, unless it has changed comes from the UK and that is why the UK is getting all the attention from MS right now, our video market place, the weekly magazine thing on the 360, the digital tv, it's all coming to the UK 360 because we're the important factor to MS.

Not to be rude tot he rest of europe and i could be wrong but last time i CHECKED we was the big contender in Europe and as long as MS is doing well here, I'd say they'll be fine.

Europeans do not like the same types of games that Americans do. They are not all on the shooter bandwagon. When most of the AAA games on the 360 are shooters, many Europeans look the other way.Wasdie

Reliability is probably a major factor for PS3's success in Europe. It's one of the main reasons why i choose to get a PS3.

The Playstation consoles game libraries are also more appealing to Europeans. Also, Sony is the company that advertises their consoles best, especially in smaller countries.
