How silly is Wiiu gonna look next to PS4 and 720?

In all seriousness though, the OS features and specs may not be that great in comparison, but it wouldn't surprise me if my favorite games are based on the WiiU. Happened with the Wii, may happen again.

At first it may look foolish... however, after price drops and some blockbuster titles? 3 years from the launch of the PS4 and 720 and you will probably have an entirely different answer.

Straight the hell up my man! And honestly it doesn't even require the price drop. Sure cheaper consoles are always nice so I wouldn't complain (even though I already proudly own one), but I feel like once all of the great games and blockbuster exclusives (hopefully) come out, it then will be further justifying the $350 price.

And back on topic, I think it will look just fine alongside the other two new generation systems (especially when they're all together in my living room!) provided they get all of these good games out that they are promising. And in fact, given Nintendo's awesome pedigree for great software there is more than a good chance it could look like the best of the three next gen systems! But of course....if the great titles don't end up coming out, it will look a tad foolish. 

But I love Nintendo and my Wii U (currently) so I'm going to keep the faith for now. Here's hoping that this year they don't let us down!

Have you ever touched the controller? You keep bashing it, but it's actually really great. I like it more than I ever liked the Wii remote. It's incredibly comfy, the dpad is a real standout and the touchscreen makes for some great gameplay (see Murphy's Dungeon in Rayman). Neither of the unreleased next-gen consoles will rival the power of a high end PC-- they won't even rival the power of my (by the time they're released) 4 year old PC. And what do you mean by entertainment options? The Wii U does video streaming and it has a really good browswer. What else do you have in mind?

No they didnt , they have been dead last in sales the past 3 years and there casual fanbase has all but abandoned them.  The wii is the reason nintendo is in the hole there in now.

If the price is actually anywhere near the 400 price point then surely Nintendo would lower their asking price. If not then yeah it would be very laughable considering what each consoles offer.

For $350 someone can have a underpowered console with a gimmick controller no 3rd party support and Nintendos same old tired rehashes or for $400 (likely price of the other systems) they can have a real next gen console with power that rivals high end PCs, full 3rd party support and all sorts of entertainment options.

Its not even a good system compared to current gen PS3 and 360. Atleast the Wii was something completely different which was a motion control gimmick for parties. Nintendo actually believed Wiiu could win over core gamers and 3rd party developers. What the hell were they thinking?

A PC that can do what he PS4 or next console from Microsoft will cost over $1,000 and will not last as long REQUIRING an update after 5 years as the PC will not meet newer games minimum specs.  

SO to say that a $1,000+ PC is better than a $400.00 dollar Console is laughable.
