 The PS4 is a next gen ready console which means devs will be focusing on consoles that bring more power. Wii U is like a 360/PS3 and devs said they needed more power and yet Nintendo makes a system of a spec that devs didn't want. Typical Nintendo. Think about it like this, the Wii U sold MILLIONs more than the trey (PS3) and yet the games still sold more on the trey than the Wii which had sold millions more. People don't use their Wiis, they bought one because they played Wii Tennis/Boxing at a friends house and were like "omg I need one" and then after 2 weeks it became a paper weight. Xenoblade is one of the best JRPG's ths gen according to most people. If X  is as good as Xenoblade then nothing will touch it in the JRPG genre

Nintendo does make fads, do you really think that if the casuals didn't care for the Wii, it would have been successful? The Wii probably would've sold worse than the Gamecube. The Wii U is exactly what the Wii would have sold like minus the gimmick taking off. Xenoblade didn't even break a million copies sold world wide, f'ing LoLQuad4Life
