It would be horrible, filled with revolutionary innovations copied from a dozen other companies, and massively overpriced and underpowered- just like everything else Apple has ever done.

I'd wonder what kind of first-party content they'd bring to the table.

Well for one I think it would be a terrible move by them considering there is only so much market that can go around. Secondly it would be over priced.

Apple is good at what they do now, doing too much or expanding into areas that aren't necessary for thier success would be foolish. Its kind of MS and why they haven't touched the portable gaming market. Nintendo and Sony have it down, having them go into it would be a little too late.

I would be quite irritated, as the console would most definitely be underpowered and overpriced(although sleek looking); and yet millions of people will go in droves to buy the bloody thing.

Apple's success is the most baffling things I've ever seen. Basically people line up to pay through their noses for something that is inferior to the competition in every way, and yet more expensive. Also funny is how Apple's doing something old that was not very popular instantly catapults in to the limelight and is lauded as the company's 'innovation'. Jeez. Eg. tablets and touch screens, which half of the people will say came into existence with the iPad and iPhone respectively.:roll: It's infuriating.

Of course all the media attention would go towards them, (like it does now -- ANNOUNCING! IPICK TO PICK YOUR NOSE! AWESOME!!!1 -- ) unjustly taking away the focus from the companies who have been here the whole time and have actually contributed something or the other towards gaming.

I would buy it without hesitation, take a second mortgage on the house, sell the car, and devote my life to the Apple console. *sips the koolaid* Steve be praised.musicalmac
