I cant play console games anymore :S

I can never leave PC gaming.

gta 4 is a pretty poor example i played it a bit on the ps3 and it was a horrible mess then i built a new comp and played it on that and it was still a horrible mess but a better looking and better fps mess. sheesh that game slows down on quad cores clocked over 3 ghz and 4 gig ddr3 memory lol

even crysis runs better than gta 4 got no probs maxing that out 1920x1200 with 4x aa :)

im mostly single player on my ps3 but i do like a bash on fat princcess or bomberman some times :)

dedicated servers paid for by the clan you join that is a nice tight community with own rules and mods/admin mods, paid for voice servers for the clan and centerd around the clans forums/steam/xfire/etc

pcs just win for community consoles cant even compete with communitys i was in for games in 1999 :)

Since I'm not a graphic ho' like the OP suggest, I play handhelds, pc and consoles. They all offer a unique experience, although I prefer gaming on my pc by a mile. But to say "I can't play..." Is so shallow.

console communitys arent a patch on pc gaming communitys from 10 years ago so yes their bad :)

I can, but 98% of the games I'm interested in are on PC, and that's where I prefer to play in the first place.

I have a high end PC but i bought a Wii with monster hunter and also waiting for new Zelda. Cant play PC anymore, consoles have more fun games :(

safe to say I dont have this problem, and I have always had a high end gaming PC and a console...... sucks for those who feel different

Funny, I play games from the early 90's on my computer all the time. My reason for avoiding consoles is no mods and a really small library.

Was not really serious, i am a gamer and play what ever game that i am interested in no matter the platform it is for.

Well i have a mid range pc so i can't go crazy with it.

Still being the graphic wh0re that i am i still love my ps3, lots of exclusives that are awsome to play and ofc some console multiplats.

the fact all console games dont let you have a dedicated server that your clan/community can run with its own rules and admin powers linked to a forum for stuff people can miss.

then theres all the chat prgrams for the pc as well as server options. what builds a community for me take jedi knight 2 for example is a server u always go to to play the game with decent rules and if any one breaks they rules eg killing unarmed people/sabre not drawn or swearing etc u can feck with them till they agree to follow the servers rules or they leave and the same people in your clan are always there etc then u can arrange clan matches with other clans on their servers or yours etc

never mind all the chat options available of the top of my head vent / ts / mumble for voice chat again with your own servers for it then theres text talk and how many programs are available on pc for that?

ohh battlefeild 2 was doing stats in a fps back in 2005 or 4 and starfleet command was doing it long before 1999 with the help of the community and league matches u agreed terms on before u fought then the winner entered the details on the league site and the loser confirmed :)

i miss starfleet command 1 and 2 they were awseome online games putting your wit against another guys

ill balance it out though i was playing batlefeild 2 on a random server and 2 guys thought they owned the attack chopper and kept killing me because i was close to it and on their team ea official servers ftl they kept teamkilling me so i finnaly got it and raped them with it before i went for the enemy :)

pc gamers are less likely to be fanboys? :lol: funny stuff. of course pc gamers can "feel loyal", they can feel loyal towards pc gaming. you don't have to be company based to have fanboys, but you also see subsets like AMD fanboys and intel fanboys.

i own all consoles, i don't "feel loyal" towards any of them but i definitely have my preferences. pc gamers are no different, they prefer their platform. and isn't that what all of this is about?

After having like 3 months of maxing every game I encounter on my PC, I just cant stand the consoles, I just played GTA IV on my PS3 and I almost throw up, I know this game was never known for its graphic but its just...bad...looks terrible on my 42' tv, heavily alyased, a lot of screen tearing despite the choppy frame rate, horrible characters model...hell I dont think a game needs good graphics to be good, but I dont like it when a game has mediocre graphics.

so, once you enter pc gaming, can you ever leave pc gaming?
