Seriously tho, I agree to a certain extent. I'm completly satisfied with all the games I have and even more excited for the ones not yet released.

But I kinda want to see what they do for next gen, and god knows that there are plenty of room for improvements.

Don't expect hermits to agree though. "dum console kiddies cant get teh grafix!!"

Didn't hate the gen but it was wasted on following the cod market which nothing other then BF3 really came close to capture. Most games that had Cod MP died within 2 months. If you think the past 3 years have been the greatest years of gaming then idk what to tell you.

No, nothing like that. Recently I've been playing mostly indie games that even consoles would run on maximum.

I'm tired of mindless 6 hours long games, snail-paced FPSs, and casual sh!t that's just made to sell to a mass market. I'm tired of seeing games catering more to shareholders than gamers. And I'm tired of the idiotic whining from the publishers regarding their "lost" revenue due to piracy and second hand sales.

Better just bury all this generation and hope the next one ends up not being worse, even if that'd be a hard feat to accomplish considering the mess this gen was.

Nintendo tried to get into gaming people who have never had nor ever will have an interest in gaming, Sony and MS are trying to keep the market in a stasis where only big names can survive leading ultimately to choking what pushed gaming to be such a big market in so little time, meanwhile the same publishers they're trying to safeguard are making games almost exclusively for people whose attention span doesn't last longer than 10 seconds, and they whine like crybabies because they could only afford fifty Lamborghinis instead of sixty.

Nothing of this has anything to do with consoles, right?
