Go to a fastfood joint and a job.. I made 125$ a week when I was 16.
I'm trying to get a job at Thrifty Foods (Local B.C. chain). Not going anywhere at the moment, but the manager has noticed that all the Ventures and Scouts that he has working for him are really good workers, so that's a point in my favour. Once I get a job maybe I'll finally be able to get that 360 I want, and some new Wii games.if u r 16 and have a license u should be able to buy a mature gamenice13jI don't have that problem. The only M games I own is Turok for the 64, and CoD3 for the Wii. I hate both of them. Granted, there are definately some good ones, like Halo, but like you said, no one really cares.

I made my first million when I was 10You know, I looked at this title and something came to me... "BLOG"... and you know what? I was absolutely right. But hey, being 16 has its' perks. No responsibilities other than HS. Trust me, any problems you THINK you're having in HS are no problem at all.musicalmacYou wanna bet? You've never been an incredibly smart procrastinator in a self paced school have you. :|

I think he's talking about the ESRB rating system and how him being underage kind of prevents him from buying the mature-rated titles. I don't think it's an issue of money.[QUOTE="musicalmac"]You know, I looked at this title and something came to me... "BLOG"... and you know what? I was absolutely right. I remember thinking that there was way to much homework in HS and that finals were hard and that AP classes were way to hard and expected to much. Looking back HS is a complete joke, you can start thinking you have problems once you get a full time joband are taking full time university courses. To the OP, is it really a big deal? If you have parents that are willing to pick the games up for you youaren't missing out on anything.
If your old enough to operate a weapon of mass destruction (an automobile) I think you should be able to buy mature games and adult movies. Seriously.rappid_rabbit
I heard you could buy guns before you had the right to watch adult movies or drink alcool in the US... is that true!?

if u r 16 and have a license u should be able to buy a mature gamenice13jIf you are 16 and have a license you will probably wrap your car around a tree and be dead within 6 months so yes they should be able to buy whatever they want.

I HATE Penny Arcade! They just bash everything they can, even if it's good, and it becomes boring!

Well there definately needs to stricter control over game rating to keep little kids off of internet games. There are some really messed up 7 year olds from talking with people on Halo2 and such. The biggest problem with the rating system is Halo where you shoot aliens with purple blood gets the same rating as Manhunt where you hack people's heads off with machetes... so how is any parent going to know the actual content of an M game?
this forum makes no sense your saying you hate not being able to buy M games when your parents can just buy them for you and what does this have to do with system wars
I've made about 350 every 2 weeks since i was 16 ... and.. just go to wal-mart.. they dont give a crap 3/4 of the time..cheatymcshiftyWhen I was 17, they wouldn't let me buy the movie Waiting... because I wasn't old enough. So my friend (who was 19 at the time) Said that he would by it, and they said, "We can't knowingly let you purchase this movie if you are going to give it to a minor." So we went to the back of the store and he bought it from the electronics area instead of the front. Amazing movie BTW.
