Yay I guess.

Meh,GTA4 remains king in my eyes. It's so much better than RDR.I have actually put down my copy of RDR to replay the GTA episodes again.

Agreed. I mean, from a standpoint of pure fun, where is it in RDR? I never saw it. The story was interesting and the voice acting was superb, so were the graphics. Everything was good for the most part, but I just cannot have the type of fun in that game that you can have in GTA IV or any other GTA for that matter. I know it's all opinions, but I really just shake my head when I see people say that RDR is so much better/more fun than GTA IV. Again, it's opinions... but, how is it superior or a better game? I fail to see it. The cover system worked better in RDR and the graphics were better, particularly in cutscenes. That's the only noticeable improvments I saw over GTA IV in Red Dead. But, when I compare them side by side and look at which one is the more fun game to play... it's not even close, GTA IV all the way.

And don't let the avi fool you into thinking I'm just a biased GTA fan. I thought RDR was a good game and I acknowledge that GTA IV has its share of faults, but I do think it is a superior, and more fun game than RDR in basically every way.

I was the same way as TC, bought the game day 1 and all the 10's it got helped with that decision but hours into the game I was severly dissapointed. Came back to the game at least 3 other times because its very rarely I dont beat a game I payed $70 for. I finally beat the game a month ago. I think part of it is sand box games are everywhere and a game made in NY is everywhere. Yawn.

GTA4 is still my favorite game of this generation, and probably ever.

It has problems, like the cell phone, and bad mission checkpoints (both of which were fixed in BOGT and L&D). But the characters are amazing, the story is awesome, it is full of epic missions.

Honestly about an hours after getting the phone I was spammed with phone calls every 30 seconds and traded the game in. Way to take away the freedom that's supposed to be offered in an open world game and basically force players into stupid mini missions that had no bearing on anything at all. The game simply sucked and didn't even deserve an 8.0, let alone a 10.

You should try the expansions, they fixed amost every annoying aspect of GTA4. People barely ever call you ( I got called once during the whole story). In fact the cell phone in L&D is quite awesome, you can call for backup during certain missions and your gang will do things to help you out that are really cool, like molotov a house in order to smoke out somebody your looking for.
