once there is no more speculation, no more gaming expos, no more corporate conferences and the consoles are available for all to see and buy that the race for the consumers $$$ will be a dead heat just as it was last generation. I can't wait to see the demo units go up in retailers and the public sees the new Kinect and what it can do. I cant wait until some store has Forza 5 and Drive Club running side by side and consumers laugh at the shit that is DC!! Or how about Knack Vs. RYSE?? OMG LMAO!! I know most of you think that the opinions shared here on SW are what the majority of the gaming public share, but that is so far north of the truth its not even funny! If you all really believe that the PS4 will outsell the XBOX ONE this holiday season at a 4:1 clip your fanboyism has made you dillusional!! The PS4 is nothing but a PS3 in a new suit with a better graphics card and a crap controller with a gimmicky touch pad the size of a postage stamp!! Yeah, that will have a meaningful impact on gaming!!

Reality is lemmings worst enemy right now.
Before the reveal: Lems said rumors are just rumors. Reality, the console turned out to be crap.
Before E3: It will be cheaper than PS4, no way PS4 will be less than $599.. Reality, XB1 is $499
As of today: Lems say ignore the bad press and lower pre-orders... Reality awaits.

And for those who say "lmao pre-order wars" How do you think investors guage interest in consoles? Why did Sony stock rise after E3 ?Why is MS backpedalling? You think its because they read the comments in major nelsons blog? LOL. Reality awaits you lems

First, the consoles are fairly similar, so calling one of them crap doesn't reflect well on the other. Second, I do agree that the PS4 appears to be winning the "pre-order war," but this is important only to a point. Certainly, it is a good indicator of initial demand, but it may not be a good indication of demand over the consoles life. Lastly, the back pedaling has hurt MS, but it is not the end of the world. If MS changes its policies to something that is valuable in consumers' eyes, then that is a good thing, despite giving it a negative connotation in the short-term.
