TC, Enjoy your console, the above post is just me jabbing at SW future posts that are going to spring up. I have all the systems, and they are all great in their own way.

Its sick you can do so much stuff in it,the online is almost identical to Live its a great system if you guys dont have one u guys are missing out,Imust say that i like it more than the 360, I just dont know why people bash consoles,if you guys bash either the 360 or ps3 you either dont own one or your just hating. gaara-pata

I bought mine last thursday and while i think it's fine, the online is not on level with Live.

It's to..scattered, all over the place, tricky to navigate and use i find. Has most of the features but they just don't work together as well, or at all for the most part. It doesn't feel like the complete package.

I have an HD monitor, Blu ray drive, high end components, a game library that goes back to the mid '90s, I still dont know what im missing? Except maybe MGS4 but thats one game.Singularity22

Well yes, which is why now Im regretting selling mine, but given the prices where I live, I cant go affording a new one without cancelling a lot of games, so since my most looked 360 games get to the PC a couple of months later, Im waiting. Still, Im missing Ace Combat and Tales, since I played both at my friends and they do not dissapoint:cry:

Why yes, yes I do. Notice the sentence "I have a game library that goes back to the mid '90s" meaning my games list goes from here and now back to about '96.

So I guess I'm going to ask again, what am I missing out on?

The only Ps3 game exclusive I'm intrested in playing is MGS4 but that does not justify dropping a couple hundred dollars on a machine that I'm going to play one game on.

If you think they are on par with each other you are either a huge fanboy, or just crazy. Xbox Live is soooo much better than PSN. While it is making steps to get better, PSN still has ways to go.

The community features on Live are also better, and easier. I like my PS3 and all, but I'm just being honest.

Live is also full of screaming 8 yr old kids, so worth the money......Singularity22

I have a black light in my computer case and I painted designs inside and out so when i turn out the lights and turn on the black light, I have a wonderful spectacle. Hows that for custom themes :P

My thoughts exactly when I got mines and played MGS4 on there for the first time :).

It's a really great system with a wide and more open network compared to the 360's Live. The game selections are growing as well but that's only natural.

Oh and TC, if you don't have Warhawk, get it NOW! Not only is it addictive, but it has teh trophiezzz. :P

i think if the ps3 had a headset bundled with the system it would make it alot easier to communicate in most games, functionality of the services are direct reflections of what you pay for, so as a ps3 user i dont mind since im not paying a monthly fee

thats not to say that paying said fee is "bad" i just have alot to pay for atm and i got my ps3 last christmas so i didnt pay for that, but that being said hit me up on PSN anyone who reads this my name is in my sig (its hard to miss :P )
