I just got a ps3 and i must say......

Well if you consider the exclusives like MGS4, Uncharted, Ratchet, LBP, etc. I guess you will miss out on some great games, but a high end PC rocks too. I guess you can never really have it all, as there is not enough time to play all the great games on all the systems.

Give it a month and a half, then come back and let us know how you feel about it again.

As for Reverse, he told the TC to wait a month and then come back and try to say the same thing, like he was imposing that the ps3 becomes stale after a month in which if Reverse did his homework, he'll see that Oct is a much more BIGGER month for the ps3 than the 360 in which rolled off to me as a fanboyish-opinionated statement. So that's why he's in the bashing as well

I stopped buying blu ray movies for some time now, but luckily I have a Blockbuster membership. Because if I didn't, the PS3 is nothing more than a machine that makes a beeping noise when you turn it on and off.

Not only did he say that "the TC didn't mention games" (in which is very irrelevant because it isn't like he needed to), but if you didn't read the fine print, he stated that the games is the ps3's weak point, in which with that statement helped his post to carry over the fanboyish-opinionated side. That was the reason for my bashing

He (MerisYaki) made a direct comment regarding the TC's post. While i agree the second sentence was unnecessary (even if it was just to back up the first sentence... in which they stated their observation of the TC's post.), it was no reason for mindless bashing. And i don't know what Reverse said or how he is involved in this thread but i tend to ignore people like him.

Being an owner of both a 360 and a PS3, I'm inclined to disagree with you guys. I think you're only considering the time frame of when the PS3 was first released and yes, at that time the selection of good games was slim. Today, however, I feel the PS3 has just a strong game selection, if not stonger, than the 360, especially in the area of exclusives (especially soon to be released exclusives). Just because the 360 has a larger selection of games does not mean that all of those games are going to be good, and to be honest many games in the large library of 360 games are complete crap.

In the time that I've owned both a 360 and PS3, I've found myself with a larger collection of games for the PS3 and I've found myself playing my PS3 alot more frequently than my 360 and mind you, I dont play multiplayer games, I'm simply talking about single player games. If I were to start playing multiplayer games, I'd bet that my time on my PS3 would triple.

PSN may not be as good as LIVE, but for free, its pretty good.

360 & PS3 are both great.... personally i prefare the PS3 but still enjoy games on my 360...

Also TC dont take into consideration comments/posts stating PS3 has no games.... most of them dont even own a PS3... I have like 32 games on PS3 (and got my PS3 in August 2007) and round 18 of them are exclusives.. there are many great games for both systems and those who just have 1 console are simply missing out...

Maybe I wasnt as interested in the exclusives, not quite sure. I've played Halo 3 (single player was lame, multiplayer was full of whiny kids or stupid frat boys), Gears of War (pretty good), Lost Odyssey (thought it was a mediocre), Mass Effect (probably the best exclusive for the 360 imo), Bioshock (dont thinks this counts anymore since its coming to the PS3), Project Gotham (not bad but GT is way better of a racing game imo), and thats all I can think of right now. Obviously, I've only covered the exclusives, although I think that is what will be the deciding factor in the console wars. So yeah, any other exclusives that you (or anyone else) can name that I havent named that rivals the PS3. I cant really think of any others.

Well i got my 360 back at launch and have regretted it since i have had it. I have had an rrod on it also. I have a total of 3 games on it gears of war, Halo3, Viva pinata. Ps3 on the other hand i have had a blast with i have almost all of the exclusives plus i buy all multiplats on it because of the free online and RROD. I dont pay for live because it is not worth it no matter what way you spin it. I still am shocked at how lemmings are proud to pay for online. Its all a matter of opinion it is not a fact that 360 has better games then ps3 or vice versa its all opinion.

Other than that it's pointless to talk about XBL or any other thing about the 360 since it wont change what you think...(I personally don't talk much on here, I perfer to watch the PS3 fanboys[not calling you one] call the 360 price drops desperation but call the PS3 price drops great marketing.) What this all boils down for me is that I own a Gaming PC and a Gaming Labtop a PS3 and a 360 and even with me having more games for the PC than any I still play my 360 more than any other one. I know and understand that for some they enjoy the PS3 over all other gaming consoles it's hard for me to understand the logic in some people and the post they make claiming that the PS3 is far supperior considering that as a gaming console they match pretty evenlly...

I like my ps3 but i have to disagree with ya on psn being as good as live.There online isnt half as good as xboxlive but the ps3 is a good system.

both got VERY good exclusives... but geow1/2(i played 1 and enjoyed it!), mass effect, and ToV are the only games that MADE me look at 360......
