I love going on message boards and complaining about games I've never played

So a common annoyance on SW is people trashing the hell out of games they obviously never played. In some cases they may not have even seen footage of the game.

The thing is... sometimes people are so off base that they dont realize they've been caught with their pants down looking a fool.

ITT: List funny instances where somebody obviously had not a fvcking clue what they were talking about.

I'll start.

1. Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden 2 are mindless button mashers. Sadly I've this excrement excuse for an "opinion" too many times to count. Those are probably the last games on Earth that could fit that description.

2. Little Big Planet is a better Platformer than Super Mario Galaxy 2. HA! .... all that needs to be said on that one.

3. This was only on one specific instance, but I saw a certain poster on this board (a repeat diarrhea of the mouth offender) saying that the Prime series was good until the Gamecube titles came along...

Anyways, I know we've all seen these moments too many times so fire away!

If someone were to play Ninja Gaiden as a button masher they would not be able to develop an opinion ont he game because they wouldn't make it half way through the first level. They may not even make it past the first enemy.

And where are you drawing this bias conclusion from? SMG2 is widely regarded as one of the best platformers ever created. The consensus on LBP is that its a charming game with cool creation tools and community features, but it is extremely weak in its floaty platforming mechanics. The mechanics are built that way to accommodate for the inaccuracies in user created levels. Its a design choice, but that doesn't stop the mechanics from being poor.

If you want to boil that down to opinion then fine, but its about as legit as saying Mortal Kombat 1 has better fighting mechanics than the best fighting games around.

Crysis is nothing more than a glorified tech demo devoid of any interesting gameplay.

And Demons Souls is just a generic hack and slash. Though I havent heard that one in a while.

On topic: As much as I dislike FFXIII, its a load of bs when people say the game plays itself via autobattle. I know some say it in jest as an exageration, but others are dead serious about it.
