What you should have said is, "I own only a 360, and honestly, games look better on PS3" :P

PS3= Better CPUXbox360= Better GPUNightTerrorX99
PS3 = Better Games Per U!!!!!
Also,the PS3 exclusives still looks way better than any other system, look here...
[QUOTE="Abicus7"][QUOTE="Nidget"]Yeah, PS3 may have the edge on exclusives but when it comes to multiplats, 90% look better on the 360. And there are more multiplats than exclusives, so ..... i guess 360>PS3 :lol:Funconsole
Exclusives > Multiplats.
Anyways the difference is so small you wouldnt actually notice while playing. Unless you paused the game, stuck your nose up to the screen and started pixel counting.
LOL where does it say that exclusives are "greater than" multiplats? In terms of sales and support, most often mulitplats do better than exclusives sales wise (hense we get more multiplats than exclusives) And also you do notice the differences without having "stuck your nose up to the screen" in most games.We weren't talking about sales or support.. We were talking about graphics.

I agree...and when someone's THAT close to the screen....well, keep it up, and they'll be too blind to tell the difference anymore :P. Seriously though, slight graphical differences doesn't mean the gameplay is any different.No, he's right. If you want a true hardware capabilities comparison, you need to choose games that play to either machines strong points. That's why exclusives give you a better representation of what a machine is capable of. They're built for that machine. That's why you should compare U2 against GeoW2 or something. Again, that works IF you have developers on both sides that are willing to put in the same level of effort to squeeze all the capabilities out of each system. Comparing U2 against GeoW wouldnt work because Gears is built on a multiplatform engine, whereas U2 is built on a PS3 based engine with a load more resources behind it.well, in that situation, the door can swing both ways. If you wanna discredit exclusives because sony uses game engines specifically for the ps3 while the 360's exclusives (or best looking exclusive) utilizes a multiplat engine, then we can say that we discredit multiplats because it's states and documented that most dev don't put in the work needed with the ps3 port. You can't blame the ps3 for utilizing exclusives engines for the ps3 to make their exclusives look better. The 360 have the same choice to go that route. It's not sony's fault for m$ choosing to spend their money on exclusive DLC rather than exclusive game engines[QUOTE="rhaigun"][QUOTE="Nidget"] Again, not always. Its down to the developers. Nidget
i guess the xbox 360 > ps3
people say mulitplat difference is not much between xbox360 and ps3 that is true
but with ps3 exclusive graphics there is not much difference either and since there are more multiplats xbox 360 WINS
Stop posting buffered up screenshots with 8x anti aliasing.I dunno i think the 360s exclusives are on par with the PS3`s graphically imo. Yes the PS3 can do some cool stuff with the Cell but as far as image quality the 360 wins for sheer detail and crisp image.

OMG. Look another game that doesn't look like this on my tv but looks infinitely better in bullshot form.
I wish I played it on a computer screen so I could print screen and show how the games look so I don't have to see those bullshots anymore.I mainly play Gears 2 in 720p but sometimes in SD and that looks like a SD shot to me. I wish I had the capture card to let you record games in 720p.

This has always been the case. The PS3 is hard to program for. Of course, your Sony Fanboy will say it's the 3rd party programmer 'dumming' down the game's graphics in order to make it look the same for all platforms. But, the reality is that there isn't THAT much of a difference between the 360 and PS3 - no matter what people tell you about 'teh cell' and 'teg bluray'.
the lighting and other stuff look nothing like that screenshot though which bothers me. Same with those killzone 2 screenshots. I really despise bullshots and the two companies I know that represent their games the worst are epic and insomniac. Big time do those two companies alter screenshots to make their games look better.Honestly Gears 2 looks awesome on my Samsung LCD maybe you need a new Monitor because the last pic i posted is what it looks like on my TV.

I've seen people use it on youtube, it's way better than most capture cards I've seen. It's called Black Magic Design : Intensity Pro and it's around $200.
Blame the developers. EA has done a terrible job at it in Need for Speed:Shift. The game itself is very good.Jerell_rasthold the phone, did a mod just say lazy devs? i seriously can't believe my eyes... little kids not understanding the financial nessessities that make devs have to cut corners in order to make a profit and stay in business is one thing around here but seriously, a mod????
check please...
it was taken out of context. that was a zoomed in shot at as certain time to show texture load time difference. the 360 would sometimes load the textures a little slower but the full article notes that the texture on the 360 are generally better. http://www.lensoftruth.com/?p=8644^ Those pics look like a PS2 game

PS3 does have better 'looking' exclusives but multiplatform games will always be king on the 360, and there ARE a lot more of them. In the end it comes down to the differences in architecture between PS3 and 360. The 360 is more similar to a PC which the games are developed on and run on the console dev kits... PS3 needs to have its crap converted to run on PS3 hardware, and thus it loses quality in how it renders effects. But thats a very basic comparison to whats actually happening. Either way, the differences are very noticible.
I find the difference to be pretty huge.[QUOTE="Abicus7"]Anyways the difference is so small you wouldnt actually notice while playing.neo_starwind
