"the reason you can find PS3s on shelves and not Wiis is because Sony is supplying more week-to-week than Nintendo. Sony is damed if they do (supply enough) and damned if they don't. Blah blah blah".
Then we get the January sales numbers and find out that Wii outsold PS3 almost 2:1 in January. That shows that Nintendo was supplying more, but STILL couldn't even come close to meeting demand. I've been trying to buy a Wii since launch and still haven't been able to get one because they still sell out immediately. On the weekend a guy at Futureshop told me that when they get a new shipment they're all gone within half an hour. As recently as a few weeks ago there were still instances of people lined up waiting for the store to open when new Wii shipments came in.
Yet with Sony and the PS3, they're selling FAR fewer consoles, and you can still walk into a store at 8pm and buy consoles that were shipped that morning. This is when Wiis are gone by noon.
There is no positive way to spin this cows. Stop trying to put some PR rhetoric on this. It's all bad for Sony and their fans.
MOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
