I See Why Sony Shows CGI Trailers

Killzone 2 looks simply amazing.

GOW 3 will most likely look very good too.

I doubt MAG will though...it just doesn't feel like it's possible.

They have no need to hype anything. Sony keeps them pre-occupied with such great games, that a few can get bad scores and it won't effect them.

It got a 10!? Well, than that means it is better than every other games out there! Why does Sony keep making games? They are just destroying all the competition! They will have to stop making games for at least three years for the other consoles and the PC to catch up. (and that is if they are lucky.)

I'm going to go out on a limb here even though its a short one, but I just watched the 05 cgi trailer for the first time in about a year or so. And I didn't even watch the whole thing just maybe 3 mins worth and I say the ingame we've been seeing actually surpasses it and I didn't even think I needed to watch anymore of it. The cgi trailer had some great facial animations but the enviroment seemed dead. Where as the gameplay the enviroment looks alive with the dust and debris flying around. Also the flames I've seen in gameplay looks alot better than what they had in the cgi. The cgi just looked to clean where as the gameplay looks real life kinda enviroment while the cgi to me looked cartoony if that makes since.

But for me each time KZ2 has definitly impressed me and leaving that cgi trailer in my distant memory.

and we know that if KZ2 CGI trailer is near possible.....why not GOW3 :) !

It's because they can get the final game to look so close to the trailer.

Damn! I can't believe how close they came to the CG trailer in 2005. You almost can't tell a difference. That's the power of Cell+RSX! The animations in this game are so sick Geow 2 eat your heart out. :D
