I'd be happy frankly, I'd rather wait and play a great game than have them rush it and be disappointed.

Do you live in Europe? If not then you can't complain, we get screwed over more than any other major place, we have to wait 6 months plus for some games, Rock Band for example, it came out when? October, November in the US, comes out in Europe in August...and it's like twice as expensive. At least on Feb 2009 you'd be playing the game, Europeans will probably still be waiting for it -.-

Well if you ask me, you're already pot committed. This gen will be over in another 2 1/2 years, so you might as well keep waiting and either pick up the Xbox 720 or PS4 - when they come out at the same time. In other words, the PS3 will NOT last as long as Sony wants to trick you about again. ;)

Edit: At least you can get a blockbuster mail subscription and rent blu-ray movies, cuz God knows paying $30+ is not worth it.

I agree this gen is half over and the ps3 has not even started. It will be to late by the time the ps3 gets up steam. Lets be honest this gen for sony, was about pushing bluray ,riding the wave of success of the ps2. Not a bad plan for sony, bad for gamers. When the new xbox launches the ps3 will look like the wii does now.

This would be the wise choice.....as well as the one that you would reap the most enjoyment out of. Unless you have just recently found out that you enjoy sitting around grinding your teeth down to bloody nubs and ripping chunks of your hair out while thinking of ways to bash on a video game console that you refuse to acknowledge like the rest of the frothing at the mouth fanboys do. In which case, more power to you, I guess, lol.

Yes you have to wait longer, but more times than not the game benefits for this. There are still a half a dozen games coming out this fall that I am going to want to pick up so I really don't mind them pushing it back so it gives me something to play in the spring when their is usually nothing being released during that time.

Just buy a 360 IMO, because if you feel that way now, imagine after Ninja Gadien 2, Too Human, Fable 2, Infinite Undioscovery, Tales of Vesperia, Banjo 3, Halo Wars, Gears of War 2 all arrive this year on 360

And definatly grab Gears, Mass Efect, Lost oDyssey too day one
