but they wouldnt be taking in more money.... they would be spending less for sure but its not like they dont make a profit off of ps3 version of games... they very much do... just not as much as on the 360 in most cases, but the cost to develop a game and port it or to develop it at the same time certainly does not out weigh the profit they make on most games on any of the systems

they never said that they were dropping support for PS2 in the threat, and what games does activision even make for the PSP? IDK which ones there are but I doubt that they are selling well. But Ill keep that out of the argument as I dont know for a fact.

Even if not all Activision games are A+ Titles they still make up a good share of the Video Game market. If PS3 lost Activision support they would lose around 40% of their games.. and EA and freinds would probly go " ZOMG COMPETTITION DOING SUMTHUN WE BETTARZ COPY LULZ "

They aren't necessarily selling a lot more, but in terms of profits I believe Activision said only 8% of their yearly revenue is from Playstation products.

If Actifail dropped support what makes you think EA will too? Their rockband on PS3 would have zero competition. And there are enough FPS franchises on the PS3 to cover up for COD.

Meh if activision cut the support for the PS3 then other than Call of Duty i dont think most of there games wouldn't be missed i mean DJ hero/Guitar hero who really cares about playing on a plastic controller to immated being a guitarist or DJ and tony hawks games have been **** poor after the release of TH3.

While true, rockband would offer a great alternative to guitar hero. For current ps3 owners, activision's games can be replaced with other franchises. Unless you're a diehard fan of those games.
EA and Activision are like clones to me the way i see it is one leaves the other will just have more room to do their thing. and if sony ever did kick the bucket well i still have a wii and 360 (although now id have to be suckered into paying for free online gaming with the 360)

first of all what activision said was said out of greed, they want more ps3's sold so that they get more money from more game sales, and second of all activision is too greedy to actually stop supporting the ps3, they would lose millions

im not saying their games suck, but they wouldnt have this problem if they would try something new for once, we ps3 owners are here, sell me something i want, the only thing i can think of that i like from them would be COD which i could live without. and i dont care either way really since i do have a 360, i just dont play it as much. but what im trying to say is, is it sonys fault that activision cant sell their games to the ps3 userbase

actually their games do sell nearly as well as the 360 version.... it just doesnt sell as well most of the time
you need to stop dramatizing activison, they will keep turning a profit on ps3 games even if it costs a little bit more to port/ develop for, they just want MORE of a profit like any company does

but the thing is that activisions games ARE sellling on the PS3 just not as much on the 360, and as I said it is a LOT harder and more expensive to develop for the PS3 so yeah it actually is partially sonys fault. Also as i said before though I DO think this is an empty threat by activision
