If both GT5P and MGS4 flop, does that mean X360 has the better 2008 lineup?

The PS3 will still have an awesome 2008 even if MGS4 flops...

To tell you the truth I don't see MGS4 flopping with all the hype surrounding it.

MGS4 is by FAR the biggest exclusive this year, by far (in terms of hype). GTAIV is by far the biggest game this year. Guess which system is getting both of these. I don't usually make such system specific praises, but in this case I felt the need.

Those are the only two major games right now for any system that are coming out in the next couple of months that we know a lot about, so at the moment, I think it's hard to make defined statements for the entire year for any platform.

DUDE gt5p is more of a demo...wait for the full game. gt series has had previous prologues and they have never been counted as a full game, but better than your average demo... so you fail on that part. as for mgs4, im still getting my mgs4 bundle along with gt5p june 12 regardless of what it scores...

to me ps3 line up is better for 2008, as the last 360 game i bought was cod4,which i know play for pc ... so my 360 is no longer getting any play time, i wanted mass effect, but looks like i'll be getting that for pc as well soon...

MGS4 biggest hype? Please ... it may surpass Snake Eater, but the simple reality is that the PS2's userbase dwarfed the PS3's and MGS' sold well, but not "WHOA" well, only MGS2 really did right?

Biggest Exclusive? I'd love to see MGS4 outsell Starcraft II and Wrath of the lich king. good luck with that.

Well Final Fantasy XIII could be coming in december. The other two...

360 already has a better lineup when I look it over... PS3 has a good one to but I am leaning towards 360s.. even though.. MGS is enough to sell me over, that and god of war.jangojay

also it depends on personal preference. Some people who have PS3s might not even like MGS or GT5. 2 games don't equal the entire PS3 lineup. It has more to go around.

Yea true... but I really want one for MGS and god of war.. man I could only imagine how ownage GOW will be!

Gears 2 will eclipse it in hype and sales. It has a better release date and the MS marketing machine will get behind it.
