nothing should happen since gamespot treats wii like a little baby with theses easy standards,

while the ps3/360/and pc have way higher standards.

There are many on System Wars that seem to live and die by GS reviews. Hence the necessity to ask such a question in this here thread.

One game being on a more powerful system doesn't magically change the original game mechanics of the game that got it the score in the first place.

I consider the more lvls the user has, the more mature, more knowledgable, more aware, and how long they have been on GS. At least, this is my definition on lvls...

It would just prove the point the Wii is held to a lower standard. If it wasn't they could release the original Xbox game with no upgrades and only expect a slight drop in score. I'm not ready to say this website is ruled by Sheep or Lems but I definetly would say they have a grudge against the PS3 imparticular if the score doesn't stay consistent with the original game (which I think was 9.4)

I honestly think it would hurt gamespots rep more after they gave a 3 year old game with the same graphics a 9 for graphics.....asuming they don't do the same type of scoring with this game.

levels don't mean anything, just like achievments. just makes people feel more 1337 thenpeople with a lower score.

It should be AAA, it's pretty much the ultimate version of NG.

Indeed RE4 is a better game but how bout instead of just looking at GS's review we compare Other site reviews toosuch asIGN .........and then see whos Biased or not

The RE4 score is reassuring. A great game is a great game. Nothing about Sigma makes it any less better then Black and if nothing else it adds new stuff to enjoy as well.

Now consider this, the extra content version of RE4 that PS2 released is only .2 score higher than the Wii. This is without doing ANYTHING to the game except add the nunchuck to it.

The PS3 version is supposed to have better sound, graphics, more content which means more value......IMO it shouldn't drop anymore in score than .2 like the Wii game UNLESS there is some kind of serious problem with the game (meaning some graphical glitch or the game dies/hangs up in the middle of playing).

Technically speaking NGS should get a 9.1 like the Wii game based on what I'm looking at from the scores above. Of course this is assuming their isn't a bias against the PS3 imparticular. Holding them to a higher standard is being biased IMO.

My guess is an 8.8.....not that it should but I hope it does because the forums will be much more fun to watch if it has that score. The doom and gloom....SOE is finished.....No software.....posts will be all over the place, oh wait it's like that now. The forum will crash probably from sheep posting to pwn cows lol.

Errr first of if the Wii version came out in the same time as the ps2 and gc I think the Wii version would score higher but since it's been two years the game can't score the same like it did two years ago since the game is just a port with added controls.

GC version came out begining of Jan and PS2 version came out end of Oct. That's why the PS2 version had the extra content....because they had more time to work with the game. What's the excuse for the Wiiversion having absolutely ZERO extra content? Not enough time (2.5 years?)

Let's use your arugment, it dropped in score since the game is just a port with added controls. NGS is a port with super graphics, added content, extra character to play. And to top it off, if both Xbox and PS3 version was to be released at the same time, who do you think would score higher? I'm still don't understand that point you made.....I would ceratinly hope a Nextgen console could score higher on the same game if they were to be released at the sametime.

I'd just ignore System Wars then. If there's one thing I hate more than waiting on the Potentialstation 3 to actually release games for me to play, it's sheep bragging about their gamecube with a new controller. I swear that the media shoves that thing down our throats. Is it cause it's gimmicky existance is made cooler by the Nostalgia all those writting reviews experience while playing a game with motion sensor controls? Who Knows, and who cares?

Whatever the case, System Wars would be interesting for a couple days if NG:Sigma got lower than RE4:Wii and would be even more interesting if it got some BS like the dreaded 7.9. Then look for some really vicious mooing to occur (and insults back at the cows).

Gameplay - 10 (No reason this should change)

Graphics - 9 (Just based on the standards of the PS3, there are better looking games)

Sound - 9 (I doubt this is something that they could have improved greatly, and NGB's sound only rated an 8)

Value - 9 (Extra content or not, you're still paying full price. At least RE4 was only $30.)

Tilt - 8/9 (this is the wildcard for me)

I think it'll get AAA, probably 9.0 to 9.2. I don't see it getting into the "midrange" of AAA scores. It could potentially fall to AA.
