Seriously, though, considering how many Blu-Rays I watch on my PS3, and how much I love the format, I wouldn't know how my life would have been without it recently.
The PS3 wins, as the PS3 has a high qualityBlu-Ray, Reliability,and of course the free multiplayer online year after year after year (that would save me bundles!! :P ) then...no reason to worry about my Halo's, GeoW's, etc.
I can't imagine passing up the high quality Blu-Ray player for the same money (this gen I am already at about 200 Blu-Ray movies owned, many more rented).

Agreed. Blu Ray was the driving force for my purchase, being able to game was an added bonus. PS3 is by far the better Media platform as well
Even though I do have a lot of friends I know on Xbox, I would still get a PS3 because they can play Blu Rays and also they are great for storing music, movies and photos.
I would probably wonder why the market would need two consoles that are so near identical...Then I would go and use the money for buying the two consoles to upgrade my PC
PS3 because it's a better console in general, although most multi-platform games run slightly better on 360. PS3 also has BD. I just hope that there will only be exclusives so that we can have a reason to buy both systems.
Id probably get teh xbox 360, for me I life the 360 controller better than the PS3, I wouldn't really have to worry about blu-ray since i can get a real good blu-ray drive for 80 bucks from Newegg for my PC.
If there were no exclusives then having to pay online would kind of take steam away from the 360 while the blu ray player would add to PS3 and its appeal.
Neither, because they are both faulty systems. I bought a ps3 because i didn't want to deal with the RROD, but my PS3 got YLOD about 3 weeks ago, they are both pieces of junk as far as i'm concerned and i regret buying my ps3 despite the countless hours of fun i had with it.

All electronics have failure rates. Would you not own a TV because it failed once?
360, better multiplayer service.. More stream lined.. And half their features are not half assed like it feels like on the PS3.. Where the internet explorer I still can't use to watch Fancast, because they never updated it.. So it basically made the feature useless seeing as really the only good thing with it was watching Internet tv..
