more multiplatform !!!!! but as the word suggest, they are multiplatform, how can the x360 has more of them ??omho88

It shares quite a few with the PC, such as, Mass Effect 1/2, Metro 2033, etc, etc.

ohh, i thought x360 fans were saying, they are exclusives.

They are when they need to be.....

PS3. If all the games are the same, I might as well play them online for free rather than paying.

360 obviously. It has far more multiplats and the best version of most of them.

PAL360

How can you have more multiplats?

This doesn't make sense.

If there were no such thing as exclusives I would still just own a PS3. The reasons being that it is more reliable, has built in HDD, wi-fi, blu-ray and free online play.

And for people who say "I just get what my friends get", why not stop playing follow the leader and you be the one that picks?

It's a loophole in the whole "console exclusive" argument (i.e. a game that's on the 360 and PC, but not on ps3 or Wii). People say those games are multiplats and in no way exclusive.

No exclusives?

They are the same $299 price?

The PS3 wins, as the PS3 has a high qualityBlu-Ray, Reliability, and of course the free multiplayer online year after year after year (that would save me bundles!! :P ) then...no reason to worry about my Halo's, GeoW's, etc.

I can't imagine passing up the high quality Blu-Ray player for the same money (this gen I am already at about 200 Blu-Ray movies owned, many more rented).

SolidTy
While I prefer my 360 over my PS3 right now, if their weren't any exclusives, and like SolidTy said, with built in Bluray, the PS3 just has more to offer out of the box. If the PS3 had come out first, I would probably prefer that over my 360, simply because I have established my gaming library a lot before the PS3 even came out, and also had a pretty big friends list. BTW, you have 200 Blu-ray movies?! Wow! I only have about 70. I've owned a stand alone Samsung Bluray player for a while, but I wasn't buying a lot of Blurays simply because of the hefty cost, but now they seem to be pretty cheap, almost comparable to DVDs, so I am going to start building my library some more. I think it would be cool if Gamespot let you list your Bluray or HDDVD movies on your profile, like you do with the games, just so people could look at your collection.

When I had a job I bought a bunch of Blurays. I have like over 20 blurays, but I havent watched one in like 2 years. I dont know why, but DVDs just seem more accesible for me to watch since i honestly dont watch alot of movies and I mostly just watch TV seasons. and since old TV cartoons eries arent on bluray, which is what I mostly watch (old cartoons) then i dont really watch anything on bluray.

PS3. it has Blu-Ray, free online gaming, and a web browser for custom fanmade themes and such. I really only have my 360 now to play with 360 only friends, and to play some non PS3 games until I get a PC.

Some of the Blurays just look so crisp on a LCD tv! I couldn't believe how amazing Avatar looked on Bluray! I also got a great deal on the box set for Band of Brothers on Bluray, it was something like 49.00. It was previously like 79.99. The only thing that bugs me with Bluray movies is the load times.

Where did you find a bluray player for $50? I've been looking around and all i can find is $100 used on amazon.kuu2

After 2 seconds of searching

You are not trying very hard, I can promise you can find them cheaper. Keep looking.

It must have been used. I can't imagine a new Bluray player for $50! Either it is a very poor brand, or some used piece of crap. I wouldn't dare pay only 50.00 for a Bluray player, unless I knew some crackhead just stole it new out of Walmart,or BestBuy. And if he stole a name brand one!lol

Im just not a big movie watcher at home, so thats why mostly. Like I said, most of my DVD viewing is for stuff like Anime and TV shows and old cartoons. and Bluray dosent do old cartoons and Anime quite jsut yet, atleast for anime is not wide spread and im not sure how much of a visual benefit HD is for Cartoons and Anime.

Yeah, understood. I'd rather game than watch movies, but I do enjoy watching a good movie now and then. Also, a lot of Bluray players upscale the DVD so good that it almost looks like Bluray quality to begin with. I recently purchased a 55in Toshiba 1080p 120hz LCD, and while even watching regular DVDs on my Bluray player they look outstanding! My friend thought that my copy of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was Bluray, but it was DVD!If I already own the movie on DVD, I usually won't purchase it again on Bluray, only if it is one of my favorites, then I may .

i think the only movies I bought again that I already own was the Pirate of the Carribean movies. I liked those movies alot and they looked great in HD.
